in streets.. find light.. or use the dark.. no rules except.. light, speed, space, and time..
if i dont have enough space, if i cant scream, or be compliant to avoid aggression.
i'll continue with closing the gap.. it wont hurt if im to close unless.. its multiple..or knives.. make some space too
knees, elbows, groinpulls..eyegauges.. hairpuling.. backskullpalmstriking.. face pushing.. throatpunching
.if an atack comes.. speed, and space..
destroy all which lead me to or away from their target me..
always an object.
i'l even kick your balls, or rake you in the sake of selfdefense, and not mutilation

time again..works with light..daylight or night,, and timing reflexes.. and not too much strategy..
the secret ingredient.. chemical x. -courage.. even if i have to kiai in their face!
or osu..to strike.. and not giving up.. even if im tired..get back up

come out alive... not trying to be a hero..but being alive.. the victory to me is.. this.. if there is a victory in fightIng..STAY ALIVE.

in tournament.. space..speed, and time
but im not thinking of it..
make some space....try not to "just block" but counter, and escape..
don't grab to much or .comit to one move..which i think will lead to a hit.. cuz
what if it hits. but he maintains.. or escapes.. and counters it..
.. intercept him/her.. lead the pace.. if i get into his/her,,, take her back.. like its a game.
timing.
if he/she is too close.. clinch..or do a goodtake down/or footsweep.
but not use a tomoenage or gaeshi which leads me to be mounted,,
then hold to choke.... scarfhold gi or nogi.. .and push his face, and body.. and shrimp out..if still on him... 200 kilos or northsouth.. and armbar. if clos eto legs.. countrolling torso.. toe hold.. kneebar.. and back to standing..

if he's good on the ground.i'll try to keep the fight up..
less grapples.. except clinches.knee.. push that head or knee your legs, cutkicks, .to the leg.. fake a punch to wat ever comes.. . osotogari. -ogoshi..or kubinagi..or suplex.. kickout if im on the ground and get back up from defensive on knee..
.. if i can elbow in a contest cool.. dodge, and bob or clinch to it.. then chain punch out if i get caught..
break them down.. to break it down. ..

never give up.. and let spirit move you

Hey use my game plan and you will never lose. I usually lead them to the railroads tracks, its under a bridge. Great place to set up a hasty ambush. My fellow commrades will use the dark as cover. Then all 100 of us with jump the shit out of the enemy, to the point he wish he wasn't born. I like to use the 3 to 1 ratio. Or some times I send a recon team to check out where he lives. WIth enought info, I then make a plan to do a raid on him. I like to attack when they are outside by their selves watering the grass.

In a street fight, I pull my .50 Automag and ask them to kindly reconsider, explaining that I don't want to get their blood on my clothes.

There isn't a better gameplan than that.

O YEAH!!! MY gameplan is still better. Instead we will all be loaded with Ak 47s. Each of us with 9 mags. And just unload on the enemy still using the 3 to 1 ratio. ROFLOL what now. And a sniper team just in case something goes wrong.

..... Well that's not exactly allowed in many places of the world. Plus you don't need anything more than a decent handgun with shitloads of stopping power. What I can do in one shot, it would take 4 or 5 shots from an AK47as it only holds 5 x 39 millimeter rounds and has less accuracy.

Besides, you can't easily just pull one out if someone accosts you in the street.

That's just... Stupid.

Amen!

Well to conclude this farce; The best bet is to not have a game plan at all as having a preconceived pattern of attack would undoubtedly be a most ineffective tactic as the truly skilled do not think as they adapt and react without conscious decision.

Need any say more?

It's related to a principle called Mushin. However I was not speaking of Mushin but rather from a psychological standpoint. So he did not exactly say the same thing.

psychological what you do comes from what you have done, or WHAT YOU PREDICT CAN HAPPEN ..reflexes..and letting go are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.. sometimes you can't think in a fight.. but there are times when you do think..

if you know what to do.. you can be able to predict the outcome... but that can also stop you

if you've done the same drill or technique over and over again, it will come natural.. like the o-soto-gari.( major outside reap),
or headlock. but..if you've never experienced anything like fighting an INTELLIGENT FIGHTER...or BLOODHUNGRY fighter
for the first time..or KNIFE, SWORD, or EVEN GUN in training.. you better learn quick, or otherwise.. try to stay alive..

training makes you smart combatively..

MUSHIN..NO MIND..YOU LET GO.. be open to what to do, evewn without set patterns, I heard you dont even feel anger.

but..WHAT IF YOU CAN CONTROL FEROCITY.. NOT ANGER.. awww more training..

YO ICE or anyone does kata really let you achieve mushin?

Well said. Though I do not think prediction comes into play as much as you say. Predicting an opponent's actions is a futile practice which would undoubtedly lead to one being bested in combat.

To answer your question, I have experienced Mushin before. It takes a long time to learn the techniques to the point they operate in muscle memory [and therefore are subconsciously decided] and takes even longer to break the habit of thinking in combat. I live in Kansas City which is known for it's crime. A few years ago someone attacked me outside a bar. I reacted fluidly and as soon as I could catch my thoughts I had him locked and on the ground. I realized what was happening after the fight and told a patron who came outside to see what had happened to call the police. That is Mushin.

I find thinking in combat and being an intelligent fighter are two different things. I have a mind for strategy and with that knowledge I find it acts as passive guidance. I find I can lead my opponent into a specific terrain or situation in which I might find an advantage if I am capable at the time. That is being an intelligent fighter.

I have no game plan. In a fight, wasting time thinking is wasting precious time.
I let my reflexes do the work for me.

Explain please.

What else is there to explain?
