I believe Euthanasia should be allowed but the person who decides to kill them should be the family, a judge, a jury and a detective...once all for agrees, then euthanasia is okay...

Anyone else notice that euthanasia= youth in Asia?

Yeah, depends on the person's will. I mean, c'mon ... if he or she is suffering that much, wouldn't it be better just to end it all?

^ it's mercy killing..and i'm against it..no matter what the circumstance is, we have no right to take another person's life. even if that person agrees to it..God gave us life, so only he can take it back..,

If the person wants to die sooo much why can't they do it themselves?? I mean why do they want others to take the fault for their death. It's their life, so they SHOULD end it!! They don't need to put other people at danger just becuz they wanna end their worthless life. If they can't handle the pain then it's their problem not ours.

they would but alot of people need help so thats why assisted suicide is a touchy thing. they may want to die and you might want to help ease their suffering but when alls said and done, you killed the person or atleast assisted in the killing.

But then again you agree with keeping something almost dead alive? wow....this is weird...

Girl you seem to misunderstand the word Euthanasia...
I think people that are asking to get euthanised are somehow crippled or unable to do it on their own. And since it is not allowed to buy killer coctails in the pharmacy, what do you expect from them? To crawl to the bridge with all the pain and then jump off the bridge?...wow..you are sick..

im for it as this act is usually asked for by the gravely ill or old person themselves. whhy should we make them suffer just because we want them to live on due to some doctor saying that they wont help them??
I mean whats the point of trying to live with something that puts u through agony day in day out?? its all down to personal opinion or religion but an individual should have the right to decide whether they want to live on or die no??

This is really a hard matter to talk about, much alike to abortion.

Whether we should kill a person? Whether that killing is considered murder or not?

I guess i'm "for" it. Even if Religion and what not say its not allowed. >_< Its' cruel to think about, but its a...right thing to do >_< if i were that person that is mentally dead but my cells are working, i still much rather just /die/ than just to be living as a plant or close to a plant and be a burden to the people around me and/or close to me. its cruel...but its fair enough.

I don't find anything wrong with it since I don't want the person to suffer and they're asking for it. You can watch them suffer in agony as they're dying slowly if you're against it.

If you are really religious: I still would do it since I care about the person enough to help them. If god didn't forgive me for that one reason, I'd be against god then. Nothing said that god was right. God told us that he was right. I'll stand next to Satan when the time comes to fight if depending on who god really is if he exists and I find out.

I don't see much wrong about euthanasia besides the fact that someone is dying, but if they're expected to dir anyways then why not speed up the porcess. But its kinda odd because I think it's just a way for hospitals to clear a bed for other patients, and help the government save money on keeping them alive....

But I don't really think that euthanasia should be chosen by someone besides the person that ios being killed. The patient should be th eone that gets to choose life or death. Even saying that though close family or friends of the patient should choose if they are unable to answer, they should all agree in putting them to sleep before actually doing it.

Because it's against "God's will" should we see the ones we love live the rest of thier lives in sevre suffering and pain while they are begging to die? To me that's torture.

If a gravely ill or elderly person wants to put an end to their life to avoid long pain and suffering, why shoud we rob them of their wishes? It's their decision. I think that under the right circumstances euthanasia should be allowed.

Wtf yesterday my Law class was discussing this what coincidence. anyways i am for euthanasia just because i believe that it is pointless to keep making someone live even if they suffer great pain. i thing there is 1 state in the U.S that allows this practice though
