Shoujo girl: "im shy, naive, innocent and weak...ur the hottest guy around. i want to be used by you." Shoujo boy: "...okay. im gonna ignore you most of the time but, dont worry im bound to notice you somehow." Shoujo girl: "you can do whatever you like,i wont get angry." ...A couple of pages later. After a so called fight and emo... Shoujo girl: "im gonna cry and runaway now coz i know u dont really like me." Shoujo boy: "pls dont go, you really were a good lay. so i decided to keep seeing you so we can do it again." Shoujo girl: "really? im so happy to be your booty call." Shoujo boy: "hehe got me another one." Please support my mini-series of "Shoujo Girl & Shoujo Boy" more to come... (P.S.) Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 5/14/08 LOL I like that, that's good. ^_^ You should make that into a fanfiction or a webcomic or something. Anyways, yeah, I totally agree. I've already seen enough of this crap in the movies... when I see it in manga, it just plain pisses me off. Often I find they are "rescued" from situations they could easily get themselves out of... like in the beginning of Sailor Moon, Usagi would get herself into all kinds of stupid shit she could easily rescue herself from, and I'd be like, "Usagi, fight goddamn it, you have the power!" It just really grinds my gears when the girl doesn't even try to fight for her own damn self. I mean, there are still other enjoyable factors of some series, but I have a huge problem with the heroines. Now, I like the girls who have either a strong body, a strong mind, or (preferably) both. I could even tolerate a girl with a kindergarten level of education if she can defend herself (sorta like Ellie May from The Beverly Hillbillies, if anyone's heard of it).

How can they be so...dense >.> Oh. Along with that. I can NOT stand how they run into, meet, fall on, whatever cliche you make-- into some random "hot" guy and they're automatically in love. They throw the word "love" around too easy. I'd prefer if the girl had a sense of dignity instead of being an lovestruck lamb who can't hold her own.

OHHC is ok because haruhi helps out the host members and other guys right? But we need more like that or others with that kind of thing...well thats how shoujo started out but we need more with girls kicking ass caush HELLO WE CAN KICK ASS lolz and i agree Shoujo guys are just too cute to let go off ~ >3

Though in some shojo manga the girls can be pretty weak and be pretty boy-crazy

That's why I don't really like shojo but I have found a few shojo manga’s that have strong female main characters that aren't weak, like in Ouran High School Host Club, Special A, and Kaichou wa Maid-sama. I really like these ones even if they are shojo
