You could always just read the novels that the anime is based on. They are being released in English now, I believe we have reached the arc used for The Second Raid. So after that, it will be all new stuff.
I'm sure that KyoAni isn't worried about FMP right now, they have Clannad to focus on and I think the Haruhi fans have a louder demanding voice than the FMP fans. After that is out of the way, there may or may not be another season of FMP. I'm leaning towards there being one, though.
You just have to be patient.
Or read the books.

Well its not been confirmed yet if the FMP Season 3 will be realease if some of you read the manga the next season will be sure intense and daring, In TSR 2 characters pops up one is tessa's brother and the lady came from Hong Kong (scene on last episodes teasing Sagara by lazer point her teacher) that has something related to Sagara's past....... On previous novel (manga) Kaname is been kidnapped at the same time Weber is now officially on hook with Lt. Mao (well this odd couple sometimes do a lot of sex) unfornately Weber is been killed on action (its not clear if Weber is alive or not base on the latest Novel)...anyway Sagara on the run to find Kaname, so i think FMP sure become full of action , Drama, and maybe a turning point on romance anyway I'll be happy if there will be a SEASON 3 for this anime!
