I dont think i'd dare read this one haha it was quoted as one of the "smuttiest manga ever"...ive checked a few of its chapter but i cant stomach the things that happen to her. the heroine has a strong will, but still naive i suppose like the shoujo cliche's i've read.

I read this manhwa like, a week or 2 ago, it was pretty short only a couple volumes. the female lead was pretty strong and spunky and was in love with this guy who she met at a park and taught her this rediculious dance to keep her from crying... they are friends for awhile after that while she tries to make herself is girlfriend, but he hasn't really "hit puberty" and just think of all girls as friend... she keeps makeing this comment about how "if his back starts to hurt he must tell her imidiantly" after a dream that she has ware he's actually her gardian angle and how if he ever does relise that he loves her he'll sprout wings and fly away does that sound familure to anyone???? I despreatly trying to remember it!

Good luck with finding it! It's a really great read even though it's short.

Beads Kurabu- she too naive,makes her a little irritating. still like her though Five- its so far down to ch21 boohoo Tenjou Tenge and Ikku Tousen- maybe their just too echii for me, its more for the boys type i think.too many boob and panty shots! although i really love Maya Natsume! I found this the other day in mangafox "Do you want to try?" its a manwha actually but the guys are HOT! The female lead was so brave that she challenged the hot leader of a bike gang from another school. This sparks his interest on her and proposed a deal...more of a favor. It seems to be so full of secrets, thats why its so interesting. Try it! "Gakuen Ouji" - i liked this also, buts i think its just too early to label the girl as a weak heroine becasuse she's just hiding herself behind her geeky get-up. but i have a feeling she's gonna be weak. hope not! Ive really read lots of mangas but sadly i forgot their titles and rely on the list update to remember them by. gomen~! a lot of korean manhwa like "Do you want to try?" has strong/interesting female characters such as: Cash Girl (the girl is NOT in love with the guy, its the other way around for once and she is NOT an idiot) Cynical Orange Dear Waltz (the girl is not annoying meaning she isn't boy crazy) Hot Blooded Woman (physically and mentally strong...reminds me of Ran in Gals! and the main character in Red Lion) Red Lion Snow Drop Cutie Boy The Kidnapping of Minja Jo's Boyfriend** (short but good) Works by Hwang Mi Ri are pretty good. Unfortunately, Korean Manhwa usually don't have as fast updates as japanese manga so you should read the completed ones and I can't remember any others some other manga with strong female characters are: Saruyama aka Monkey High (you know those stories where many people think the girl isn't good enough for the guy, well its the other way around but the guy is still cute ^_^) Junai Tokkou Taichou! (the girl is physically strong and she doesn't go gaga over guys. In addition, the guy isn't the "perfect typical shoujo heros" (although I do like some of the characters like kei from S.A.)) Yanki-kun to Megane-chan (the girl is physically strong and although there isn't that much romance, its funny) KouKou Debut (the girl is physically strong) Kare Kano (smart, strong and Not a ditz) Most of the other ones such as S.A, Skip Beat, Penguin Brothers and H3 schools were already mentioned. Tokyo Crazy Paradise is one of my favourites - the girl takes no trouble from no one, and it's by the same mangaka as Skip Beat. I loved it that much I managed the complete catalogue in about 3 days - my girls were square after lol. Just read Penguin Brothers as recommended by some, it was great - loved how they managed the emotional stuff without going all cliche.
