I believe that Ikaruga on Hard is one of the hardest games that I've ever played. I can't trough it without at least 7 credits ...Riven is also one that I put away in the closet because it's so hard. Super Mario Kart for the SNES also made me want to put down video games because I thought that I sucked. What's are the hardest games you've ever played??

Some of the mega man's are defiantly quite difficult.

especially the timing on most of the megaman games. Like in MM2 when you have to time all of the jumps at heatman's stage...ugh I remember getting halfway and then falling off. I hate the disappearing platforms

Shadows of Colossus made me crazy!! And the megamans were pretty hard, but that just took practice timing the jumps.

^ yeah battletoads was pretty hard, especially that one part where you are on like a jet ski trying to avoid the obstacles...

the most recent one that i can remember is ninja gaiden. i think i broke 2 controllers and punched a hole on my wall before i beat the 1st boss.

also, the "dodge the lightning" mini-game (for Lulu's Venus Sigil) and "get a time better than 0.0.0" mini-game (for Tidus' Sun Sigil) in Final Fantasy X, that really took a lot of my time.

Dark Omen, Alone in the Dark 2, Dune 2000 the last 3rd,...

I still maintain that this game is humanly impossible to beat. I've seen more shots at the screen at one time than I had lives. I actually bought a game shark just to finish this game. It's a light gun game to boot. I've had some video-game-savant friends (you know, the guys who play any game effortlessly), and they were throwing the gun by the time they gave up.

black & white 2....first 4-5 stages were easy but it's gettin really hard..

Hardes game I ever played was Track and Field for gameboy. Igot the game as a present originaly, thought it would be easy to beat...... BIGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. That thing was so hard that I my finger got sore from sliding the a+b all the time. It even got to the point that I lost my nail and my finger started to bleed. I put it away then I invented the super a+b presser. (lol) Its a penny that's bent on two sides so that it fits your finger. I used that to beat the boss and I almost had a hard attack from beating him because I was so happy. Other games that were hard ...Beating some of the cheats for perfect dark 64. Crash badicoot took me some time but I got 102%, Riven was insane too. and FFx with thoses vigils.Tring to beat shao kan in mortal combat sholin monks. and others that I can't think of. right know
