resident evil series...not too hard but it freakin gave me heart attack..died so many times

it was a stupid mega man game that i rented years back. it was f***** hard i kept on dying on some stupid spikes, i hate mega man games since then.

so far its been devil may cry.....i can't do button mashing

Well you can beat it in one sitting but can you beat Riven in one sitting?? Still I agree with you that Battletoads is hard, I have it, it's hard as crap to beat...

For one thing, Riven wasn't meant to be beaten in one sitting. It's not really a hard game, it's just a game that is meant to take time to complete. In my opinion, the only really hard puzzle in Riven is figuring out how to activate the domes with that grid and the colored balls, but even it isn't truly hard so long as you have kept a LOT of notes.

Battletoads for gameboy is probably the most baselessly difficult game I have ever played. The second stage is completely absurd; you have to be perfect to the frame to complete it. But, it is completely redeemed by the most bitching soundtrack ever to accompany a gameboy title.



I think that DOOM: the Roguelike is far more grueling.


Another of the hardest games I have ever played is Rising Zan: Samurai Gunman. It's pretty fun, and has an interesting sense of humor, but the controls are somewhat awkward, and the learning curve is unreasonably high. I've owned the game for years now, and neither I nor any one of my friends has ever been able to beat the fourth stage.

All the old, classic NES, atari, etc. games. Just because you couldn't save.
