The hardest game I've ever played was a game called Forsaken for the PS one. Never beat it. To this day, I've never beat it. It is one of the FEW games I have never beaten.

Devil may cry 3:Special Edition is the hardest game ever.

I think that the megaman Zero series is on of the hardest... (it is the hardest of the megamans series) and try beating MetalGearSolid 3 snake eater (subsistense) at European extreme!! I coudn't even get past the first guards!! and try it without killing anybody nor getting alarmed!! and in less than 3h!!1 almost impossible but some one's done it... Soul Calibur 3 is also hard... sometimes..

I remember playing Super Ghouls and Ghosts back when I was 8-9 or so, I finally managed to complete it after weeks and weeks of constant playing only to find out that I had to collect the bracelet back on stage 2, and started back from the beginning. then died on stage 2 and didnt play the game again until last year. When I couldnt get past the first stage without save states.

I got another retard-hard game for ya.. Shadow of the Beast. That game was just ... bitching soundtrack, best ever on the Mega Drive, but holy shit it was hard.

Ooo, and another Digger T Rock for the NES, maybe I was just a piss-poor miner but I remember playing that one for days on end too.

It wasn't hard as such, but I had Simon's Quest (Castlevania 2) for the nes, and I remember never being able to find the next place to go. For like 2 years I'd boot it up every day, go left all the way, then go right, but never found out where the hell I was supposed to be.

Mike Tyson's Punch out too... I bet I'd have a better chance in real life of beating that mean mugging mofo.
