Each year more than 140,000 Americans died every year from injuries. Alcohol is a large involvement of these injuries and death. Every half an hour, someone in the United States die of drunk driving. Alcohol users increase their chances of an accident to happen in two ways: Greater like hood and or, greater seriousness of injury. Alcohol abuse deteriorates the mind and body greatly. Recent studies show that as your blood alcohol content increases, your ability to perform skills gradually or progressively declines.
Each year in Munich, Germany the Oktoberfest takes place on the famous Theresienwiese. From 1810 till now, the Oktoberfest has so many drunks. It begins in September, usually on the second last weekend, and lasts for sixteen days. Now, in America, if you have an Oktoberfest as big as this one, a lot of fights would break out and a ton of hung over’s the next day. Germans and American drinking habits are different. One is happy go lucky(Germans) and the other is going to have reckless fist fights(Americans). During Oktoberfest there are general etiquette tips.
Mostly, don’t be rude, especially not to the girls. This can get you out a tent easily. Know your limits and (try to) not drink too much.
Be early at the fest (best before 4pm) to catch a nice place.
If you have a reservation, be sharply on time.
Don’t dance on the tables. Never! You may dance on the benches as long as you like, just don’t step on the tables. You might get removed from the tent really fast.
Don’t take a beerstein or glass with you (or anything else that doesn’t belong to you). They will check your bags and person when you leave. If they find a glass it is considered as theft. Usually they’ll just take the glass and let you go, but the can call the police if they wish.
Don’t wear silly Oktoberfest hats. You will look like a moron. No kidding.
How much beer do you drink at Oktoberfest?
Don’t try to drink too much. But you’re probably asking “How much is too much?”. The two mass beers are OK. At three, you’d approach the borderline quickly. You may not feel well the next day. Four or more mass beers, and getting home (or getting anywhere) will be difficult. And the next day, will most likely be large mess. There is also another thing to avoid complications: DON’T drink Schnaps. Just don’t do it. This may send you to the floor within a short amount of time, and there is nothing you can do about it. Just stick to the beer and you’ll probably be fine (sort of).

Since the dawn of man, the cultivation, use, possession, and transfer of cannabis (better known to all of you as Marijuana; or ganja for all of you that have experienced the “Magical Mystery Tour”) has been a source of medical benefit, religious purpose, or recreational activity. But during the late 20th century, mankind has frowned upon the use of the nonlethal narcotic.
It was a time of war, a time of peace, an age of music, and an age of politics; the United States was going through the Vietnam Conflict, and later the Korean War, the Beatles were a hit, and the Apple Computer Co. would soon rise to the top. This was the era of “hippies,” a time of “government-produced-experimental LSD”, a time of the “Maui Wowie;” the rise of marijuana. Because of the effects of such narcotics, it was clear to the lobbyist that such experience was not meant for human hands. Who are they to make such a law? Why should such a substance be “illegal?” Centuries of human cultivation of hemp, and in a matter of a decade, the government “busts the joint.”
The use of marijuana can be beneficial. It has proven itself for medical purposes – as a sedative and overall relaxer, with medical benefit to pain relief, nausea, spasticity, glaucoma, and movement disorders. Look on the contrary regarding the issue of smoking: over 30 years of Philip Morris and smoking hasn’t produced a single benefit to human existence. Without the addition of chemical agents, nature in itself is a good and safe experience. Smoking does not necessarily have to be all about marijuana, but other natural substances, such as dried herbs, or other substances that have proven medical benefit. It is mankind that has tampered with nature’s formula. People die not because the leaves are dangerous; they die from the chemical intervention of nature or the inappropriate use of the substances. Then there is the media, portraying the cause of death was because of marijuana, overlooking the “rat poison” styled chemicals grounded into the “joint.” And from there the government gets angry, making stricter laws, and harsh fines. Of course the public never here’s the statistics regarding smoking deaths: the equivalent of a Boeing 747 crashing every day.
In the present, the long history of the cannabis has been frowned upon, with fines extending to $10,000 or 5 years incarceration (Washington State Marijuana Law*). Once a noble plant to many nations, now looked down by ours. It is not nature’s fault for such a disaster, but the fault of humans who fool with nature.

Whether you want to admit it or not, you have questions and concerns that run through your mind about sex. Whether it is a males “performance” to a females concerns of being pregnant. Then there is the wondering thought of if the myths about sex are true. Questions and concerns are always there in the back of our minds or for some of us right there in the front.
With our males out there some concerns they have are that they can’t keep their erections up. And a few things that could cause this problem is a size of a condom if you wear one, also the thought of just putting one on because many times a condom can change the sexual sensation. And having any type of stress whether it is work related, home related or school related can cause a problem with a males erection. A thought about being drunk and “performing” well is a common misconception. In fact it is the complete opposite, being drunk causes it to temporarily have a “down fall”. The thought of ones own penis size most frequently crosses a males mind at one or more points in their life. But in actuality a woman really doesn’t mind a males penis size as much as they do with sexual compatibility, sexual interest and sexual technique.
With our females out there one of their biggest concerns are if they are pregnant are not. This may be a concern because they may feel they are to young to have a child, they don’t know how to tell their parents or what to do with this child if they are to bare a child. For some females they may be to busy with their career to have a child, or they may feel they are too old to bare a child. For some they may just not want a child at all. Things you can do to prevent becoming pregnant is to practice abstinence this is the best way but many don’t want to practice this. So there are alternatives, such as birth control, condoms both female and male, and Spermicide. There is always the morning after pill. Choices that you can make after you do become pregnant are keeping the baby, adoption or abortion.
A question that is on a lot of teenagers minds is the age of consent, but it varies through out every state. In the states of Virginia, Wisconsin, California and Arizona if you are under the age of 18 you can not have sex with anyone. If you are the age of 18 and above it is legal for you to do as you wish. In the state of Florida, if you are under the age of 16 you can not have sex, teenagers the age of 16 and above can have sex with anyone under the age of 24. In many states you can have sex under the age of 16 as long as it is at least a three year age difference for example the state of Arkansas if a 13 year old wishes to have sex with a 16 year old, it is perfectly legal.Myths about sex are on everyones mind. No matter what sex you are or what age you are. Now many people think that they cannot get pregnant your first time. But this is not the case at all. If sperm comes in contact with the vagina. If you have anal sex you can’t become pregnant, it is possible to get pregnant from unprotected anal. If you are on your period there is a chance you can become pregnant, at anytime of your cycle. Under the right conditions sperm can live in side of a woman for up to ten days. Many first timer believe that if the girls “cherry” did not “pop” then they are still concidered pure. This is not the case once the penis has entered inside of of the girls vagina you are no longer pure and you can no longer call yourself a virgin.
