Well that's good! I feel the same way. One of my biggest dreams is that everybody of different religions will accept each other.

I was raised Catholic. I'm baptized and confirmed. My Dad is Catholic and my mother is Protestant.

I used to be a Catholic school girl.

My father is catholic and my mother is presbyterian , i was raised Catholic , but never baptized (parents wanted me to make the decision myself , as they felt it has no meaning without the personal choice to do so ) . My Great aunt Dorothy is a nun and has been for 50 or so years . Coolest nun i ever met .

I ,however, am not Catholic . Though i do have fantasies about having sex with young nuns .

I can totally relate, only with priests instead of nuns.

I think you'll have to back this outrageous statement up with pics!

XD what is the appeal of a catholic school girl? The implied innocence? I'm currently a all-girls catholic school girl, only one more semester of it though!

As for women being preists I say yay!

hmm...

I was raised Catholic and sadly I'm questioning the authority of the Church.

It'd be nice to find a new meaning in it though, since I don't want to disappoint my family [they're strict Catholics, very involved in the parish etc] and I truly want to remain Catholic...

When you get to my age, any nun will do.

Plenty of Irish on my side of the family and my wife's lot are all Italian so it is Catholics everywhere I look at family gatherings. Strangely, I am theoretically CofE (baptised and confirmed), though have been athiest since about the age of 7.

As this thread is about the discussion of Catholic-y things, I would like to raise a point with TrueKyo's comment 'One of my biggest dreams is that everybody of different religions will accept each other.'.

Surely the basis of Catholicism, as with almost all flavours of religion, is that it is right and all others are wrong. In his previous role of Grand Inquisitor, the current Pope was responsible for excommunicating and sending out gagging orders to various people for heresy for not following his particularly narrow interpretation of the Bible. Indeed, by just making your comment, you are committing heresy in his eyes.

If the top man refuses to tolerate even slightly differing views by other Catholics, who are all basically batting for the same side, it is hard to see his opinions of other religions being very sympathetic. He is already on the record of saying that the Catholic church is above all others (the religious master race perhaps, given his past) and was forced to backtrack by JPII as it was though too inflamatory.
