once my sister asked my nephew whether he wants to play racing or a game of fairy tale...
of course,he chose racing...

so...are girls really into things like fairy tales and boys are more into aggressive things?

in my experience,i love fairy tale but not all boys like aggressive things...

so it's true?

i'm not really into barbies as well,.. i don't like anyone giving me a doll for a b-day present.. it's not much of a use to me.. it's just like a decor... haha.. but i sometimes play with my friends.. when i was still younger.. nyaha!! my brother is into hot wheels and others... but i'm more on television and computer... haha

When I was younger I loved Barbie, I mean she had a great job, tons of friends, had special powers, had some nice houses and cars. Man Barbie lived what some say the sweet life but I soon broke away from that since I lived with my brother and he explained that video games > Barbie. End story for me.
Usually also just throwing this out there it has alot to do with the parenting. For example a father might want his little girl to be playing with dolls while his son has to grow up to be the big football player or whatnot. Thats how my dad was at least.

even from a very young age

boys/men are generally more competitive physically eg sports, racing, fighting

girls/women are more competitive in other silly small things which most men will never figure out

Although I hate admitting it yes, I was obsessed with Barbie when I was little. Heck, I loved anything girly and pink. >.> It's kind of a stereotype though, I remember quite a few number of friends from when I was little that were more tomboy rather than girly girl. Maybe it's influence, society can be very pressuring and may force you to fit in with your gender. Yes, I realize thats sexist. As a child though, I think most kids fit into the stereotypes. >.> Not all though...

Hm. When I was young. I played polly pocket with a guy from church. Ahaha. I hope he turned out alright.

I had something like this. Except it was heart shape and yellow in color.

I actually hat that one in the picture - Lots of pollypockets but thats not the topic! Anyways sterotypes are always made that girls will grow up playing with dolls, wear dresses and guys go out play sports and get messy and stuff...It's not always true because as children grow up they begin to make their own choices.

It depends on how they were raised... If their daddy hugged them too much... that means they'll like the fairy tail shit...
