LOL, today, there was a fight in school and all i was thinking about is what kicks, punches, techniques they were doing lol

Lol, that reminds me of this one time these two kids were rolling around across the crowded hallway--they said they were fighting but when I was watching them with my friends, it only looked like they had each other's hair and were hugging, which looks extremely awkward if you consider they were two guys who were short for 7th graders and on the floor... I felt sorry for them, not because they got suspended but because they're guys who decide to fight and don't even know the proper way of fighting...Even if the reason was far too stupid to mention, they could have at least entertained the spectators a bit instead of rolling around and cursing...

LOL! That's like Jiu-Jitsu
HAHA! floor fighting!

Yeah, you would think it looks like Jiu-Jitsu, but it seriously, seriously just looked like them rolling around and cursing... I can't describe it but...it was WEIRD...heh heh...

lol i think ill die from laughing if i really saw it

Heh, I was laughing like crazy and I think my eye twitch once or twice at the sight of it all...

oh lol

That doesn't appeal to me somehow, though it probably would come in handy someday if someone did manage to catch me off guard. Personally, from my observations, I think that anyone who knows how to fight/defend themselves wouldn't get pulled to the ground, because most inexperienced fights do go on the ground.

I recommend u watch the UFC cos everyones there's like a pro at their art and u'll see how BJJ and floor fighting works against other martial arts. "Watch the ones with Royce Gracie 3 time champion of UFC he uses BJJ to manipulate his opponents." And he dose a damm good job of it.

Fight Science is a terrible example. It's ridiculous. There's some TKD idiot that claims to be a "Katana Master" who hacks away on ballistic jelly. Furthermore their so called "Science" is a fallacy.

They had a big boxer guy that probably weighed more than 260 lbs and was about 6'3 or so. Then they had a GungFu guy who was probably 5'6 and 170. They said they were going to judge which martial art has the most force.

First off, it comes down to the force of the individual, not the technique let alone the art. Such a thing is not possible.

Second off, Force = Acceleration + Weight. Obviously the boxer would win.

And the ninja guy?

Ok, so I started in Muay Thai and it was a great class, but at the end, this trainer takes a giant rolling pin and "gives ya 10" on the shins... to DEADEN them and remove shin splints etc! ummmm...ow! Afterward, they said that what I had on my legs were called "racing stripes!" How cute! (not!) There were three new people in class and one of the guys SCREAMED "F#*@!!!!!" when he got his legs rolled (kinda funny) I just laughed and said, "you gotta be KIDDING me!" Here's whats left of my stripes this a.m!

Anybody else experienced this new fun method of torture?

So, yesterday at my new dojo, (the MuayThai class) It was sparring day! I was excited because I wanted to see how my TKD would fare against the Kickboxing. Now this class teaches UFC style fighting and the MuayThai and throws in Silat and well alot of MMA stuff. My first opponent was a girl my size. Shes been kick box training for 9 months. She has a professional fight coming up on Aug 2nd. I was really excited when I found out wwe were gonna spar! Gotta tell ya.. I kicked her butt! She had no concept of kicking, I pummelled her body till her hands were down the whole 3 matches. Then I'd toy with her and throw punches straight at her face and i'd stop just short enough to barely tap her, and then I'd make a sound effect as if id hit her. It was funny cause she was a pretty tough chick and I had my reservations going in...After the spar, she asked me if Id train her because she realized that she may get the floor wiped with her body at her pro match coming up! (she also did no damage with her punches or attemps at kicking me!) My next sparing partner was a big gangly guy with almost no training...like 2 weeks worth. He had dissed me earlier in the class by saying he didnt want to do drills with me cause he was afraid to hit me. I proceeded to beat the crap outta him. Afterwards he said, "I don't believe it! I just got my ASS kicked!" Ok, then it was time for my Master sensai to teach me a lesson. He came and sparred w/me, (although in my defense I was totally exhausted at this point!) I got in more than he expected, I think, then he dented me real hard in the head and I heard bells ring! (you gotta keep the students in thier place!!)
After class he said that I should be competeing pro, but that I had a natural aggresion that was gonna get me killed, and that I should learn how to tone that back! OK!! (I'll try!)

lol well legendary sucker u sure showed em it doesn't matter bout sex or size it all comes down to one thing, skill and the ability to use it which u demonstrated very well in your discription

yesterday me and my mate (who also dose the same training that i do) went to this party and 5 of my other friends were being smart asses, they would say stuff like show us some moves man & they'll drop us anyday me and my friend was just laughing so they ended up challenging us to a grapling contest and that's when our BJJ training hit in we wooped their arses the first guy was like a pretty built serbian, man that guy was like way stronger than me i had a hard time with him but in the end i managed to get on his back and apply the back choke which instantly droped him he was tapping on anything that he could tap on. The second guy was pretty average got him into my guard and did in a reverse figure 4 and the last guy man got droped in two seconds basicly i got the mount position straight away then the dumbass grabed my collar so i said thank you and right away did an armbar on him, he was like begging to stop lol. The other 2 guys just got back choked and cross choked by my friend that'll teach em never to mess with us dw no one got hurt in this incident just lots bruises but gotta admit it was fun night

That's GREAT! (my bro is training in BJJ and touts it as the best art ever!) That must've been fun. It's funny how bigger people dont understand how their joints are basically the same as a small persons joints. Their size doesn't help when someone is twisting on their elbow.Sounds like the big guy may have been hardest though. I suppose just working him into position would be harder! However cool grappling is, I dont think I'll ever do it. (unless I have to be because of a real fight!) I dont like rollin with big sweaty guys.. I mean...EW!! Well, Its always fun to be able t o show off your art, especially when people are taunting you! I always end up getting hurt if I'm just messin around in backyard fights or whatever, I try to wait till I'm on mats and have some protective gear on. (mouthguard whatever)

Tthis morning i was sparrin with my TKD instructor we went all out i won match but was also the one who got injured. He did a roundhous and i think i countered it by stepping to the side with a round house and floowed up with another roundhouse and unfortunately for me my second roundhouse kicked his elbow so now i'm walking like a crippled man lol and later after that class i had grappling round with the same instructor in BJJ (he's only a belt higher than i am) man he full squish me therefore dominated me "just think having 100kg squashing on u and i'm only 60kg" so he owned me and our head BJJ instructor just dominated us both he choked me out and did a figure 4 with his legs on my tkd instructor.

gotta scramble then.. i bet he figure foured you cuz he had full mount .. or back control huh? man that sucks.. i hate feeling 1oo kilos.. best way for me is sticking that elbow if i can... or shrimping, situp., then side control.. push that space out man.. especially that face... een abit..
100 kilos works best when you control the most of the pressure right, and you need arms to hold on right? the head is there.so you

you ever tried twisting out?

have you ever done an armbar?
