My poe about bloodlust. ^^ It leaked out of my mind while I weren't watching =P




A soul burning! Trembling with excitement!
The feeling... The adrenaline...

Clenched fists! Rushing through rage!
That feeling... All that adrenaline...

A punch thrown! No backing allowed!
Burning feeling! Burning adrenaline!

i got to admit iot.. That was pretty poetic ..not maudlin like other poems, but full of emotion, and passion for action, aggression..
what does a bunch of blades made from meat and bone mean? you mean your fists which cut through or pierce?

I really didn't think about it when I wrote it ^^ it just came out on its own...

As a bunch, it's the whole body as a weapon, as a manifestation of battle, not just fists.
As blades, they're meant to kill, not with piercing or slashing necessarily, though.


Well that has some truth to it aswell, dunno about killing, but I've figured out ways to use every part of my body as weapon, including some more rare parts as hips and neck =P

XD no! I told you it's not really about killing =D, but I can strangle quite well with my neck. ^^

The thingie for neck is that with a bit training, you can stretch it to about 10 cm (might vary quite a bit, but that's my effective lenght to be still able to use those muscles) and it is quite enough to lock on someone's throat or arm for example. ^^ I train my neck muscles alot as well as any other normal and weird parts of my body... So with chin helping the job, it's actually quite useful grappling implement =)

an octopus can do many things in the same time, can cameoflage their moves, and some can be very poisonous., im surprised they havent created or shown a martial art for them.. if you can stretch your neck to defend a punch or drill thats cool..but one must know..
the octopus like the head though weak has thousands of thousandths of teeth which drill through their food. and suckers which feel and nullify.. they have three hearts, and its head.. propells its body with great speed by force..

Well not that I could spit ink or has anything lethal octopus-weapons XD but it is true that my whole upper body strecthes very usefully. With combining that to the awful amount of sit-ups and other weird-training-method-which-name-I-don't-know-thingies and then the weird directions my body bend to, I might not be the most efficient combat machine, but at least I'm the most surprising. =D
Really, I've invented some attacks that no other martial artist I know could do... XD

Then again, maybe they could if they did the same weird streches I do =S

Ookay, so first put your arms so that there's a straight line between your elbows, and relax the rest so that your hands point about down. Then, using your muscles, you bend them first down and then backwards, keeping the elbows in a straight line. If you got a helper or two, they can bend it (it is quite hard to bend with just you muscles first) to just stretch them. I'm going at about 300* - 310* atm, goal is 360*. ^^

So you put your hands up (with still the straight line between elbows) and do a 360* rotation around the elbows. Of course I twist my shoulders in the process, too. ^^


Yeah I quess that's a bit bizarre (oO) Now that I stop to think about it...

we have that in wing chun.. its called using the huen sau.. its a way to stretch your elbows.. but rotating only your wrists..in the end clenching them.. you must try to keep your elbow facing straight because this will increase your flexibility for your shoulders..we call this elastic power..that way you can quickly punch or deflect..or trap an opponents arm.

. the huen sau
is to rotate..as a prep to the lap sau.. or grab.. the better the huen sau.. the better the grip.. you will actually hear your wrist cracking yes?
its because of imbalances of the body structure..this aids with strengthening yes? because the joints, and tendons must have muscles to support them.. or else..

the back.. same..for every martial art.. training..

try this... see saws! those are painful.. but very great for pain, and strength

See saws? Could you explain, I don't really know *any* of those common names since I've quite everytime just copied the move or invented for my own purposes =P

By the way, at least now I can be sure that I'm going the right way on my stretching 'coz it's mentioned with even it's own name in some martial art =P

ok see saws are when you lay on the ground on your stomach.. you put your arms up in front of you..and your legs up too.. and your head as well.. you see saw your body from your chest and stomach to strengthen your stomach for pain..and to strengthen your back..
the reverse of it.. is by holding your legs and see saw yourself..this strengthens your back especially after that you do neckbridges.

you want a weird exercise.. omg kiai exercises.. those are crazy! i couldnt do them anywhere.. but i used to do them
to build up my stomach isometric and release the tension..
get this 7 sounds all having a special effect..
plus..the commonly used kiai.. you want to be deadly.. and i know you do..work the breathing..
but breathing right..especially in combat.. to rejuvenate

check em out..the seven sounds. five known two hidden..

Hmm, see saw, I see. I invented one quite similar (in some ways) training method. And I just noticed that I haven't added my new training methods into that wikibook of mine in ages... =S


Anyways, I lay on my back, crouch so that only it touches floor and lean a bit left first. Then I go like, one simultaneous kick/punch forwards with right leg and fist, and then I lean backwards (still on my left side of back) and do the same to upwards. Then I lean instantly on my right side on back and do the same on left leg/fist. I sometimes also do variations of attacks on the move, just to spice it up a bit, some simple like elbow strikes and such.

That's one muscle-killing training, when you do that for half an hour... Beats punching bag anytime! Well, mostly when I got the energy to do it for long time enough... =P


And dude, if you didn't try that out yet, do it now! It's like shadow boxing, but from ground! Trains stomach muscles very well, trains some back aswell, gets you a good sense of balance, gets you to feeling of attacking from ground, works on your basic attacks and many many other benefits! Buy... eh, I mean... Try it now, dude!

its funny how balance varies.. between which action..
I'm going to try it out.. I've been sloven for a couple of days.. but my mind has been sinking is stuff.
what do you call it? it maybe groundshadowboxing but it changes form formation..

you know what i was thinking? monkey climbing..
I've been shadow boxing with drunken movement when i got tired in my runs.. it helps me pick up wind..
but multitasking.. like
what if you can punch while doing pull ups.. toning feet curvature... i read how .. they trained harder, and even smarter back in the day
.... I need.. the max effect.. that can be done anywhere, and anytime.. then changing it up..

Yeah, and one more thing to that groundshadowboxing... It's funny how one can rotate around quite fast with only back touching the floor. =P

Punching while doing push-ups... Well, if you do it with only one hand and rotate while doing it so that your sides point to ground and sky, it's like punching movement, right? Doing that might be a *bit* more tiring =P but at least it should work on your punch...

Then the thing, always walk on the balls of your feet, I do it also! =D And my calf muscles look almost scary... Well, I've done it too much and now downhill skiing is impossible due to unfitting skiing shoes... =P


Your calf muscle is your most powerful stamina drainer, so when you train it as much as possible, you can go on battlefield bouncing like a gangaroo without a hint of fatigue. This muscle also helps you getting your leg off the ground fast when kicking.

And doing sit-ups and punching... If you've got something to keep your feet on the ground, you should work on explosive power made from stomach muscles, 'coz them are quite big part of your punching power... So do sit-ups as fast as possible, trying to get power to your punch from even that position. It should help doing power attacks. ^^
