it's harder to draw guys when i'm trying to make them muscular and not feminine and skinny like you do the girls. plus, i keep making it look like they have small breasts somehow so it's all awkward and crap

For me it harder to draw guys, I totally want a male character with long hair but everyone thinks it's a girl
So I'm trying harder to make the eyes more "guy like"
But what I like drawing about girls is how curvy they are and you can be more imaginative with the outfit =D

Personally I think you can do some interesting things with a male character's outfit, you just have to keep your eyes out for a different sort of aesthetic.
I notice a lot of guys wear simple shirts with patterns for instance, and the pattern they choose reflects a little bit of their personality and tastes. The overall shape of the outfit usually only changes when they wear jackets, Being a much more expensive and elaborate item they come in a lot more styles than men's shirts do. Some of them being throwbacks to other eras; such as denim jackets or leather bomber jackets.
Then of course there are always accessories like backpacks and whatnot. Heck, they style themselves up plenty they just don't know it. XD
Keep an eye our for what they do and you'll be able to whip up a manly outfit before you know it! (imho)

I think women are easier to draw, because they're softer and slimmer figures. Men need more detail for some reason..

It's a little different than the definition I grew up with, but it's not too far off so I can't complain about how the word has evolved over the years.
