If you're asking if everyone should own a gun, I'd say nope, there are too many idiots in this world. As most have said, only certain people should be allowed to have guns --police/government, etc...

False! In the US there are over 2 million defensive uses of a firearm every year by private citizens. So we are also saving people with them.

In reality, legal gun owners don't do this. It's almost always the people who own guns illegally that act like this.

Of people with concealed handgun permits in the US, it's only something like 1% that are ever arrested for anything, and most of those are arrests for things that have nothing to do with guns, like insurance fraud.

Yea, and stun guns (tasers) are illegal in many states too, even states with concealed handgun permits.

Actually I thought bulletproof vests were illegal without a permit almost everywhere in the US. They are expensive and uncomfortable so I wouldn't expect most people to want one anyway.

hmm, i forgot the fact that the topic was talking about making it more legal and wider, i was only looking at: "what if people were permitted to have guns without need to legalise?"

my apologies

but honestly it would hapen if they could just get guns at bars and such, and we're not secluding to the US
