I'm all for it. As long as people stop killing each other for no good reason. Guns were meant to blow off the heads of robbers and other such bad guys.

Any American who calls for gun control speaks against The Constitution, plain and simple.

And I ask of you, what is so wrong about speaking against the Constitution?

Exactly. Speaking against our constitution is allowed as a part of our constitution.

Nothing is wrong with guns.
What's wrong is when nutjobs get P/O'd .
You can kill alot more people alot easier than using guns, they just choose it because they feel it will release anger like beating on something. Maybe people should smarten up and identify these things before it becomes a problem?
Bullying in school can easily lead some kid to snap, yet staff at schools just let happen.

Over 75% of people shouldn't even have drivers licenses. The common sense factor on things has gone way down.
I think a 1 time extensive gun ownership test should be given for all "NEW" gun owners on future purchases. Let them prove they even know how to use it. (will cut down on anything they can call a gun "accident" , they will have no excuse)

Also part of it is the media. And no i don't mean video games, i mean the news going on and on and on and on and on about it.
It brings them out of the woodwork. Cover it for 1 day and move on.

Also magazine cap's are just annoying to target shooters. You can shoot a gun while reloading a magazine, not to mention have other magazines ready. But that isn't exactly practical to target shooters, for the nutjob doesn't matter where his bullets fly.

Also the entire "assault weapon" thing is a joke. Adding a bayonet is bad? How many bayonet stabbings do we see in the last 100 years?
A pistol grip ? big deal? Adjusting stock? big woop they adjust to to fit their shoulder better.

Apparently gun ban's don't work anyhow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyS3CEIbpJo

Buying too much ammunition alerting police is also dumb , i don't think someone buying 30,000 rounds matters. He isn't going to tote them with them and kill 30,000 people.

The world has NO common sense these days.

“You don’t need no gun control, you know what you need? We need some bullet control. Men, we need to control the bullets, that’s right. I think all bullets should cost five thousand dollars… five thousand dollars per bullet… You know why? Cause if a bullet cost five thousand dollars there would be no more innocent bystanders.

Yeah! Every time somebody get shot we’d say, ‘Damn, he must have done something ... Shit, he’s got fifty thousand dollars worth of bullets in his ass.’

And people would think before they killed somebody if a bullet cost five thousand dollars. ‘Man I would blow your fucking head off…if I could afford it.’ ‘I’m gonna get me another job, I’m going to start saving some money, and you’re a dead man. You’d better hope I can’t get no bullets on layaway.’

So even if you get shot by a stray bullet, you wouldn't have to go to no doctor to get it taken out. Whoever shot you would take their bullet back, like "I believe you got my property.”

Because it shows you don't believe in the freedoms that our founding fathers had to fight for (and by extension, suggests that you are a enemy of the state).

Do you think their word is absolute? That the values they fought for would never grow old? Accept it, men who lived two hundred years ago could not set up rules that would be applicable forever. And I don't think I need to point out the absurdity in calling anyone who doesn't agree with every word of the Constitution is an enemy of the state.

Yes. Absolutely.

Guns are not evil. People that use them to do evil are.

What with the whole gun law fiasco going on within the United States right now, I can see a few people changing their minds about people owning guns. But in my opinion, the whole thing is getting blown way out of proportion.

I honestly can't understand why people want to take the Right to Bear Arms away from the entire nation after a few shootings. I am not making light of this situation - human lives are precious and it's sad that they are prematurely ended because of psychotic people, but the truth of the matter is most people are mentally stable enough where they will not do such things.

Will making firearms illegal stop criminals from getting them? No, not even close. If they can't get them legally, they'll get them illegally.

Hate on me for sharing my opinion if you want, but these are my honest feelings, and I'd rather be hated for saying what's on my mind than loved for BSing.

but in the US constitution the right is to bear arms, not specifically guns. this would constitutionally give you the right to carry around a nuclear weapon.

Uh... It was a joke poking fun at the fact that, that amendment was created during the revolutionary days.

Don't worry about it. Just watch more TV and you'll avoid embarassment in future.

Not only is it a constitutional right. It gives you the freedom to protect yourself, freedom to hunt your own game, and last and most important the freedom to fight the government if you believe they are reigning with tyranny.

I firmly believe people should be allowed to, guns are no more dangerous than the people using/wielding them, as are other tools. Besides a gun ban won't stop those who really want them or know how to make them, not since you can build a fully automatic assault rifle right out of your own home.

Edit: That guy who killed 40 people with a knife in china is a good example. Bats, Knives, numerous other things can be used as weapons easily.

Just throwing this out there, but the vast majority of gun related incidents tend to be due to the "Drug War."

Ending that will help far more then any ban.
