My Grandfather still listens to metal bands and some rock bands like System of a Down and Mudvayne...?
So, yeah, I don't really think that Age matters in music as well... ^^;

I'm young yet I listen to bands my parents loved.

I also don't think getting old really affects rockers too much, but adds more to their virtuosity of their instruments and experience on tours. The only foreseeable problem I have is that if they smoked cigarettes for a long time, then their voices probably aren't as good as they once were.

Here's an example: I saw the Moody Blues play recently, and it was an excellent show. Their biggest hit, "Nights in White Satin" came out waaay back in 1967! They may have looked old(they've all gotta be in their 60s), but they played perfectly.

Not necessarily, i can think of a few bands i like that are still making good music even tho they are 'alot' older than they were when they first started.

Acceptable music age for most. 15-40. 50 if really good. To me bands get better as the years go by.

Is not age, is the limit of the skills. Every artists reaches a peak then things starts going downhill. The rate of it depends on the person, and the circumstances.
