Threads makes it too limited and kind of scattered.

As pages, definitely can work. I voted for pages but not because I prefer it, since no issue has been delivered this way so far, but as a way of telling you that is a good alternative. Remember that we now have a couple of more BBcodes to work with such as text alignment (can work for titles and 'next page' links at the bottom left corner for example, and page numbers at the top left) hyperlinks keep everything looking less messy, etc....

The website format is very good and a great thing about it is that you can keep on improving it as much as you can. There is a limit to the CR templates.

The thing about the wiki is that Wikis to me are for other things...factual info, organized details, etc.

I think keeping the website and using CR pages is the best way to go. The website can expand and evolve a great deal, and using pages here makes it look better than having them as threads, and if you want to keep a small forum for discussion about it it will look more organized too.

I <3 your posts!

I basically agree with all you said! I think we might make issue 11 with a pages and website version. I want to try out all the new bbcode and page feature! ^-^

We're trying to move our site to a new host so we should be able to lay things out better and have more freedom - yey! We will rely on you to moan until it's perfect!

The pages on the website are a marvelous sight. I would have also voted for pages in a group. Howevere I'm not sure to what extent the capabilities of this version is compared to the website. The website is clearly organized, has a lot of potential variety, and more stuff can be done other than BBcodes and text coloring.

I suggested the idea of using group pages in the editors forum, steffi. The main reason why I prefer it is precisely because editors can freely update and change content and help with the whole process. Before, it was either just you or dusty.

In addition, the pages uses CRs site format, so viewing discrepancies will be reduced to a minimum. Not only is this system more efficient, it's also more functional.

The pages (via website) is really neat. When I view of the issues through that website, it feels like I'm reading a book. Threads were ok, easy access and organized, but the pages feels colorful and more fun to read o.o.. Or is it just me?

As for CR Wiki, it feels like the Onigiri magazine was put on a wrong category (well if you put it there). The website was greatly done, it's fun, and I don't see any trouble clicking to get on a page. If this magazine were to come out of the convenient store for sale, expect me to buy it. :O

Ed-ucation is really cool xD. And Steffi, you're great. May... I can't wait for May.. It's going to be my b-day on that month ._. Me and Shinji got the same birthday xD.

Thanks for the feedback!
I don't think we'll go back to threads since it was so messy. It might work better with the pages feature and if we use all the new BB Code ^-^.
I agree about the wiki- it's too informative and has a strict structure that makes reading the Oni, like reading an essay!

It's your birthday in May- yey! Perhaps we can think of something last minute to add in =P ^-^

I think it's about the same as the ease of having it on CR? The pages tend to load quickly and i think the site's simple enough to navigate. It's better than PDFs though! Noone could read them! ^-^

i actually don't mind uploading all of it... i've added everyone that's asked to assist with that as editor/admins on the site.. so you just can't get there becuase of your "lovely" *vomits* mac >.>

but FYI when we move it to the new host (expected completion date August) it'll be hardcore html and java with a touch of a few other styles of programming.. we'll also have our own forums and chat (if i can figure out how to code it!) and we'll be able to do ALOT more with the new host... the current host is very limiting in that it's sponsored by miscrosuck.. and people with other browsers seem to have some difficulty in the layout area (as you've seen yourself)

I'm also looking into being able to stream the music from reviews, and snipits of the anime and drama on theonigiri.com

just have to be patient i'm doing a massive crash course on HTML JAVA and a few others.. *sigh* it just takes time for my brain to absorb it all

The major problem i have atm is that people don't get their stuff in on time... which makes me have to stay up late when i have finals the next day or work or whatever, and steffi and i aren't the only ones who do stuff on the oni, Lucy is pretty helpful in that department too..

if people would get their reviews/articles/art etc in on time, then there would be plenty of time for futzing with the layouts and the colorscheme and the fun little do dads on the site.
