Manga was better in my opinion. Godai wasn't just a slapstick comedy character, he actually had alot of depth in the manga. Also that Information organization crime ring was amazing. Manga = win.

Hrm, I liked both but I honestly like the manga better. As xkrazydog said, Godai has much more depths in the manga, and Yako is less...emotional high schooler-ish(?). The anime also ended on a plotline deviation from the manga. And we never seem to find out about why Sasazuka treats Yako so nicely in the anime. And Sai... T.T, well, I dunno how the manga is gonna explain Sai but I don't think the anime is contigent with it.

But it'd be nice if there was a second season to the anime though, since the manga continues on.

Agreee! but i like the manga, its more funny and its explain more how they solve mysteries. in the anime, it was CUT! CUT! and the mysteries was just solve without tell how Neuro solved... i agree too, how are they gonna explain X later on if there a is a second season, but they should since Neuro never solve Yako' s dad and Ayakan's mysteries.

I'm naturally going to choose the Manga, since it came first, but I do think that they way they started the story in the manga was better than the anime. The anime kind of jumped in the middle of everything, at the point where everything had kind of settled down, but in the Manga you got to see everything fall into place along the way (Like, meeting Neuro, Solving Yako's father's death, finding the office, meeting Godai, meeting Akane).

i agree, though i absolutely love the manga and anime nearly unconditionally, the manga flowed a little more naturally. The way they put more importance on Yako's case by involving X seemed a little bit of a stretch, but they actually succeeded in blending it nicely into the plot. I was skeptic about the Brazil end arc, sorta, "OKKKK where the heck is this going..." but it actually played out interestingly so an A to the anime for managing to stretch despite circumstances, but A++(xinfinity) to the manga for its awesome hilarious scenes (often skipped T_T) and also kudos for the art, which i felt is just creepier and bolder in black and white than was shown in the anime. I still think anime had some very amazing art and fight scenes on its own, (Neuro vs X ftw)
so manga=A++++(xinfinity) and anime=A
so this long post isn't useless here's a pic4u!
