A FINE ROMANCE

One day, your arms will possess me,
One day, you will ask for my hand,
One day, the ring will be shining,
In the sun as we walk thro' the sand.

One day, romance will caress me,
One day, the church bells will chime,
And we will go cruising together forever
For the love of my dreams will be mine.

drinks of nectar
smiles are charms of dreams
whispered oaths are shivers of zephyrs
songs are storms of passion
on his lips.
He's the one and only one for me.

Broken hearts, love's deceit,
pieces fall down to my feet.

Broken promises, love's a lie,
puddles form from tears I cry.

Broken dreams, love's illusion,
sorrowed cause of your intrusion.

Broken hope, love's a game,
doesn't last, ends the same.

Broken sleep, love's the cause,
digs at me with sharpened claws.

Broken spirit, love of sorrow,
stolen now is my tomorrow.

Broken life, love is lost,
Broken now and that's the cost.

First Time Love

For the first time in my dismal life
I feel love flow in my heart
the same heart once thought cold and lifeless
fills with glorious joy and happiness
because of a woman
whose spirit is full of passion
her eyes that shine like sapphire stars
filled with warmth and beauty
a smile that brings happiness to my sad existence
I have never known love until now
because of the way she touched my heart
took hold of my depressed soul
and showed me the beauty of life's wonders
everything that I thought impossible
all seems to be within my grasp
I see everything in a new light
because of something I thought unworthy to feel
to feel love's tender kiss
and I bask in its beauty so
because of the feelings of a woman
whom I would love now and 'til
my heart beats its final note to life's great song

What is LOVE??

Love Is. Love is when you wake up; he is already on your mind. Love is when you lost your heart; he is all that you can find. Love is when you want to be the one to dry his eyes. Love is when you see the truth in every one of his lies. Love is when you want to listen to all his whims and woes. Love is when you want him to take care everywhere he goes. Love is when he calls you; your heart goes a flutter. Love is when you see him, "I love you..." you silently stutter. Love is when you tell the world that you love him so. Love is when you've told the world, but he doesn't know. Love is when you know you'll still love him when he's lost his hair. Love is when your eyes light up when you see him there.

Just left me cold and out of breath.
I fell too far, was in way too deep.
Guess I let you get the best of me.

Well, I never saw it coming.
I should've started running
A long, long time ago.
And I never thought I'd doubt you,

I'm slowly getting closure.
I guess it's really over.
I'm finally getting better.
And now I'm picking up the pieces.
I'm spending all of these years
Putting my heart back together.
'Cause the day I thought I'd never get through,
I got over you.

You took a hammer to these walls,
Dragged the memories down the hall,
Packed your bags and walked away.
There was nothing I could say.
And when you slammed the front door shut,
A lot of others opened up,
So did my eyes so I could see
That you never were the best for me.

Hard love

You stroke my hair while you thought I was asleep,
I heard you words and tryed to foreget them.
I turned my face to the wall when you left.
I did'nt want you to see my tears.

A hug is just a way to say, i love you in a special way

A smile can make your day shine.
A sweet word can make it to.
But when all the words are gone,
and all thats on my mind is you.
I'll just want to give you a lot of hugs.

When you shed a tender tear,a hug is sure to be nere.
When you're trimbling in fear,
a hug will come from a friend that care.

Hugs are warm,hugs are nice.
Hugs are ways to brake the ice.
If you send me a hug,you want regret.

I'll hug you back so you wont forget.
A hug is just a way to say, I love you in a special way.

Everyone can write poems.. because a poem dosnt have to be beautiful.
It dosnt have to be long. a few words can make a poem..eto..like this mabye...
