Technology progressing is always a good thing (I doubt many of us could even imagine what life would be like without electricity, water supply system, etc.), but main problem is the fact that technology (at least one that has most presence in the media and is known amount the general populace) is focusing on trinkets and other less important things (yeah, having 1 million songs is really important... right).

I'd look at how insanely cellphones have become advanced in the past few years... and for what? Your average user won't use half of what his cell is capable of.

agree with the very first post. can't even listen to 100 songs...
so i'll also use it as storage for other data...

anyway, it's the trend these days. the more extreme, the more marketable, the more expensive, the better... it doesn't apply to all but i think it applies to most of us...

Here is the thing, I don't need 1000000 songs, I don't know who would. Its kind of pointless.

Technology advances at an exponential rate. Hell we would already be in flying cars right now if there was the Technology gap due to fucking religion.

so.... that would be cool. you could have every song you ever liked. haven't you ever had a time where you were listening to your mp3 player and wanted to hear a song you haven't heard in forever and it wasn't on there? THIS SOLVES YOUR PROBLEM! no need to worry about space. besides, most people don't pay for their songs anymore anyways. hello... LIMEWIRE FTW. we could have 1,000,000 songs if we wanted to. anyways, im sure it would be able to hold video so i would kill with with some movies. XD

Downloading a million songs would take up my download limit for a few months.. -.-"

i dont really think so... there hasn't been a significant improvement in the internal combustion engine for almost a hundred years.

Still, imagine if we could be where we are today 500 years ago.
