Apparently there's a Prince of Persia movie coming out that's supposed to follow the Sands of Time game in June, 2009. I'm not sure if I should look forward to it since most video games movies aren't so good (like Resident Evil).

ZOMG!

Thanks for the information. Prince of Persia is my favourite game!

More upcoming Pixar/Disney films:

Up is a Pixar film to be released on May 29, 2009. "Carl Fredricksen (Edward Asner)[3] is 78 years old. When Carl was a child, he met and eventually married a girl named Ellie who grew up in a small midwestern town. Ellie always dreamed of exploring the mountains but died before she got a chance. Now, when developers threaten to move him into an assisted living home, Carl decides to fulfill his promise to Ellie. To accomplish this, he befriends a chubby eight-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell.[4] The two opposites match up for thrilling adventures as they encounter wild terrain, unexpected villains, and all the terrifying creatures that wait in the jungle"

As, Raiden said, Toy Story 3 which is about: Woody the Sheriff, Buzz Lightyear, and the rest of their toy-box friends being dropped off at a day-care center after their owner, Andy, departs for college. It's to be released June 18, 2010. I also heard that it's in 3-D along with Toy Story 2 in 3-D for February 12, 2010!

Cars 2 is to be released in 2011-12. I have not yet bumped into any info on its story. I'll be sure to update once I do.

The Bear and the Bow is to be released Christmas 2011, "In mythical Scotland, Merida (voiced by Reese Witherspoon), a member of the royal family, decides to give up her family name for her dream of becoming an archer. Merida makes some kind of reckless choices, resulting in the destruction of her father's kingdom and her mother's life. Merida then struggles to set things right."

Newt is to be released June 2012.
"What happens when the last remaining male and female blue-footed newts on the planet are forced together by science to save the species, and they can't stand each other? That's the problem facing Newt and Brooke, heroes of "newt," the Pixar film by seven-time Academy Award(R) winner for sound Gary Rydstrom, and director of Pixar's Oscar-nominated short, "Lifted." Newt and Brooke embark on a perilous, unpredictable adventure and discover that finding a mate never goes as planned, even when you only have one choice. Love, it turns out, is not a science."

Bolt: "The story is about Bolt (John Travolta), a dog who has lived all his life on the set of a TV show in which he portrays a superhero dog. As a result, he thinks that his superpowers, and events on film, are real. Later, he gets accidentally separated from the studio. As a result of his misunderstanding, he believes that he must "save" his owner from the evil "Man with the green eye". He then meets a female cat named Mittens (Susie Essman) and a hamster with an exercise ball named Rhino (Mark Walton), and eventually he discovers that all of his powers are fake." To be released November 21, 2008.

Princess and the Frog: Tiana (voiced by Anika Noni Rose), a young African-American girl living amid the charming elegance and grandeur of the fabled French Quarter. From the heart of Louisiana's mystical bayous and the banks of the mighty Mississippi comes an unforgettable tale of love, enchantment and discovery with a soulful singing crocodile, voodoo spells and Cajun charm at every turn. Comes out Christmas of 2009.
I must say, I'm extrememly happy about it being hand drawn!

Rapunzel:
Another Christmas release, but in 2010. I'll put more info as soon as I find more.

King of the Elves: "Based on Philip K. Dick's 1953 short story fantasy King of the Elves, the film is about a band of elves living in the modern-day Mississippi Delta who name a local man their king after he helps save them from an evil troll." Coming December 2012

They're also making a new Alice in Wonderland.

I'll get more info as I can but from what I know off the top of my head, it stars Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, and Mia Wasikowska as Alice

And, of course, it's directed by --- as you should very well have realized based on the cast -- the one and only Tim Burton.

'Tis called "Morning Light," but it's not being released nationwide -- only in select theaters. And I mean SUPER select theaters -- like 50 total across the country.
