I'll get more info as I can but from what I know off the top of my head, it stars Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, and Mia Wasikowska as Alice

And, of course, it's directed by --- as you should very well have realized based on the cast -- the one and only Tim Burton.

Missing one key Burton actor. Winona Ryder, -__-.

Nah.......she was in Edward Scissorhands, but that's about it, ain't it?

She has been in more, I am sure, but can't think of any at the moment. Did Tim make Beetlejuice?

Lol.......I've never been entirely partial to her. I remember her best in the Crucible, and the Crucible is just.....spooky, per say. Not because the movie itself is scary, but because it's just weird. It's about the Salem Witch Trials.

I know this is neither pixar nor disney but this new animated movie is called "igor"... I have seen it yet and this anime is realy charmingly funny. The first trailer for Igor has finally debuted online after originally showing at the New York Comic Con. Igor is an animated movie starring John Cusack as the voice of Igor. In a world filled with mad scientists and evil inventions, one talented evil scientist's hunch-backed lab assistant has big dreams of becoming a mad scientist himself and winning the annual Evil Science Fair. Remember Arthur and the Invisibles? Didn't think so. Unfortunately Igor is destined to also get swept under the rug this fall after it hits theaters. It also features the voices of Steve Buscemi, Eddie Izzard, and even Jay Leno! Wait - maybe I'm wrong, maybe this will be good, but who knows - could this be the next Nightmare Before Christmas?...LOL..
Igor is directed by Anthony Leondis, of Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch, with a screenplay by Chris McKenna, writer for a few episodes of "American Dad!". Igor is being distributed by The Weinstein Company and had hit theaters everywhere this past September 19th 2008...

Also I don't know if some have seen the preview for this new 3D disney Tinker Bell movie direct-to-video Disney animated film based on the Disney Fairies franchise which had been released since 2007. The film revolves around the titular character Tinker Bell, a fairy character originated from the 1953 Disney animated film, Peter Pan. Although the character has never spoken anything before actress/singer Brittany Murphy will be providing the voice for the fairy in this film.
anyway here is a link where you can watch the trailer...enjoy!

Yea.........Igor didn't get particularly great reviews, though. I'm still going to watch it at some point, but I've read and heard it was very mediocre.

Alice in Wonderland (2010)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice_in_Wonderland_(2010_film)

Alice in Wonderland is a 2010 fantasy film directed by Tim Burton and based on the Lewis Carroll novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. The film will utilize a technique combining live action and motion capture technology. Mia Wasikowska will portray Alice and the film is due for release on March 19, 2010.

Joe Roth was developing Alice in Wonderland in April 2007 at Walt Disney Pictures with Linda Woolverton as screenwriter. Woolverton added a socio-political context to the story. That November, Tim Burton signed with Disney to direct two films in Disney Digital 3-D, which included Alice in Wonderland. Burton, who dislikes the 1951 Disney film adaptation, explained "the goal is to try to make it an engaging movie where you get some of the psychology and kind of bring a freshness but also keep the classic nature of Alice." He also felt 3-D was appropriate to the story's environment. The film was originally to be released in 2009, but was pushed to March 19, 2010.

The original start date was May 2008, but filming did not begin until September. 250 local extras were chosen in early-August. Scenes set in the Victorian era were shot at Torpoint and Plymouth from September 1—October 14. Locations included Antony House in Torpoint, Charlestown, Cornwall and the Barbican. Motion capture filming began in early October, at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California. Sony Pictures Imageworks is designing the visual effects sequences. Some of the actors, such as Depp, wore costumes and make-up on set.[1]

A Christmas Carol

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Christmas_Carol_(2009_film)

A Christmas Carol is a 2009 film adaptation of Charles Dickens' 1843 story of the same name. The film is written and directed by Robert Zemeckis, and stars Jim Carrey in a multitude of roles, including Ebenezer Scrooge as a young, middle-aged, and old man, and the three ghosts who haunt Scrooge. The 3D film will be produced through the process of performance capture, a technique Zemeckis has previously used in his films The Polar Express (2004) and Beowulf (2007). A Christmas Carol began filming in February 2008, and will be released on November 6, 2009.

A Christmas Carol is a Victorian morality tale of an old and bitter miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, who undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of one night. Mr. Scrooge is a financier/money-changer who has devoted his life to the accumulation of wealth. He holds anything other than money in contempt, including friendship, love and the Christmas season.

Zemeckis has stated previously that A Christmas Carol is one of his favorite stories dealing with time travel. Carrey has described the film as "a classical version of A Christmas Carol [...] There are a lot of vocal things, a lot of physical things, I have to do. Not to mention doing the accents properly, the English, Irish accents [...] I want it to fly in the UK. I want it to be good and I want them to go, 'Yeah, that's for real.' We were very true to the book. It's beautiful. It's an incredible film."

The Princess and the Frog | http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIzF64O2ZYc

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Princess_and_the_Frog

The Princess and the Frog is an upcoming 2009 American animated feature film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and based upon the classic fairy tale The Frog Prince. It will be Disney's first traditionally animated feature since 2004's Home on the Range. It is being directed by John Musker and Ron Clements, directors of The Little Mermaid and Aladdin, with songs and score composed by Randy Newman and starring the voice talents of Anika Noni Rose (as Princess Tiana), Oprah Winfrey , Keith David, John Goodman, Jenifer Lewis, Bruno Campos, Michael-Leon Wooley and Peter Bartlett.

The film, which began production under the working title The Frog Princess, will be an American fairy tale musical set in New Orleans during the 1920s Jazz Age, and will feature the first African American Disney Princess.

Disney had once announced that Home on the Range would be the studio's last 2D animated film entry to their animated features canon, but after the company's acquisition of Pixar in early 2006, it was reported that Ed Catmull and John Lasseter, new leaders of the animation department, were interested in going back to the Disney tradition of 2D animation. Ron Clements and John Musker, directors of successful 2D Disney films The Little Mermaid and Aladdin will be writing and directing. About a month later, at the Comic-Con, Disney animator Eric Goldberg confirmed the news and also mentioned that Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken would be in charge of the music.

The film promises to return to the Broadway-style musical in the style of the successful Disney films like Walt's classics, and the musical renaissance of the late-1980s and all of the 1990s. Rhett Wickham also reported that John Lasseter had personally asked Ron Clements and John Musker to direct and write the film, and had let them choose what form of (both traditional animation or CGI) they wanted the film to be in. New and updated software will be used in the digital processing of the film, as the old Computer Animation Production System from Disney is now outdated.

On November 13, 2006, it was revealed that Randy Newman, who was responsible for the music of many Pixar films, would be in charge of the music in the film instead of Alan Menken and his new lyricist Glenn Slater. This change was due to John Lasseter not wanting the public to feel Disney being repetitive, as Menken was also working on another Disney fairy tale film, Enchanted.

On December 1, 2006, a detailed casting call was announced for the film at the Manhattan Theatre Source forum. The casting call states the film as being an American fairy tale musical set in New Orleans during the 1920s Jazz Age, and provides a detailed list of the film's major characters, including the leading character, who at that point was to be called Maddy. Disney later officially confirmed this.

In February 2007, it was reported that Jennifer Hudson and Anika Noni Rose were top contenders for the voice of the film's title character, and that Alicia Keys directly contacted Disney's studio chief Dick Cook, telling him that she wanted the role very much. It was later revealed that Tyra Banks was considered for the role as well.

During the Walt Disney Company's annual shareholder meeting in March 2007, Randy Newman and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band performed a song from the film called "Down in New Orleans", while slides of pre-production art from the film played on a screen.

On April 19, 2007, it was confirmed that Anika Noni Rose would be voicing Tiana.

On July 5, 2007, it was reported that Keith David would be doing the voice of Dr. Facilier, the villain of the film.

On July 29, 2008, the official website was launched with the first teaser trailer of the movie.

On August 8, 2008, Rhett Wickham, writing for LaughingPlace.com confirmed and clarified the names of the ten supervising animators at the helm of the ten principal characters.

On November 12, 2008, the original theatrical teaser poster of the movie to changed from December to November.

While the Goofy short How to Hook Up Your Home Theater experimented with paperless animation, the artists on The Princess and the Frog will use traditional pencil and paper that is scanned into the computers. Although a new pipeline for hand-drawn animation has been developed at the studio, like digital coloring without CAPS, the actual animation process remains the same.

The former trend in Disney's hand-drawn features where the characters were influenced by a CGI-look has been abandoned. Andreas Deja says "I always thought that maybe we should distinguish ourselves to go back to what 2D is good at, which is focusing on what the line can do rather than volume, which is a CG kind of thing. So we are doing less extravagant Treasure Planet kind of treatments. You have to create a world but [we're doing it more simply]. What we're trying to do with Princess and the Frog is hook up with things that the old guys did earlier. It's not going to be graphic…". He also mentiones that Lasseter is aiming for the Disney sculptural and dimensional look of the '50s. "He quoted all those things that were non graphic, which means go easy on the straight lines and have one volume flow into the other -- an organic feel to the drawing."

There was some controversy when the name of the heroine of the movie was announced as Maddy. The character's name was perceived to be a stereotypically lower-class "black name", and the character was also a chambermaid working for a rich white person.

On April 20, 2007, E! reported that the title of the film could possibly be changed from The Frog Princess to The Princess and the Frog, and that the lead character Maddy may be getting a name change as well.

On May 4, 2007, USA Today published an article regarding the film in which they referred to it under the aforementioned title, The Princess and the Frog, and referred to the lead character as "Tiana" rather than Maddy, supporting the earlier reported name change possibilities.

On May 8, 2007, BET and other online sites reported that Disney spokeswoman Heidi Trotta stated that some of the original release information was incorrect, and confirmed the USA Today names "Princess Tiana" and The Princess and the Frog to be correct. Tiana will no longer be a "chamber maid." Trotta stated "Princess Tiana will be a heroine in the great tradition of Disney’s rich animated fairy tale legacy, and all other characters and aspects of the story will be treated with the greatest respect and sensitivity."

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chronicles_of_Narnia:_The_Voyage_of_the_Dawn_Treader#Future_film_adaptation

Michael Apted is directing The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, a sequel to The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Andrew Adamson, director of the series' first two films, and Mark Johnson are slated as co-producers. Apted grew up reading the novels. Ben Barnes will play King Caspian, Skandar Keynes plays Edmund Pevensie, Georgie Henley plays Lucy Pevensie, Will Poulter will play Eustace Scrubb, Eddie Izzard voices Reepicheep, Peter Dinklage plays Trumpkin, and Liam Neeson voices Aslan.

Filming was to begin in January 2009 at Playas de Rosarito, Baja California and Australia for release on May 7, 2010, but by November 2008, the project had yet to be greenlit. Walden and Disney wanted to budget the film below $200 million, as Prince Caspian did not gross as much as The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Jan Roelfs will be production designer, and Isis Mussenden, who designed the costumes for the previous two films, is in negotiations to return. David Arnold will compose the music, while Dante Spinotti will be cinematographer. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who adapted Prince Caspian and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, will return to adapt the third film, alongside Steven Knight.
