That inspires me, if you could really call it 'inspires' It helps that its also been used in some of my most loved books and anime (Hitchhiker's guide series and Cowboy Bebop)

I don't really get how a tautology can be inspirational. Might want to explain this one some more, how it inspired you, and so on.

Well, I think the only way to really explain it is with a quote from Douglas Adams himself;

"So, we may have accidentally stumbled upon the ultimate answer; it's the only thing, the only force, arguably the most powerful of which we are aware, which requires no other input, no other support from any other place, is self evident, hence tautological, but nevertheless astonishingly powerful in its effects."

'Anything that happens, happens' is, as far as I know, the only way of describing the universe in a way that is self evident, an undisputable truth.

That's easy:

- architecture
- graphic design
- My brothers and friends
- My parents; they might be gone, but their things are still here. My dad's master tapes, CD collection (to which I listen nearly every day; it has great stuff and some dodgy ones) and family heirlooms. My mum's paintings, writings and books.
- Music (especially The Jam) and films
- People around me, especially strangers on tube

The amazing music artists (besides the American artists) from other countries, especially the bilingual ones (e.g. Utada Hikaru and Arisaka Mika) because they make me wanna be a bilingual singer when I grow up......someday.....................
