kamsa 3547 cr points Send Message: 22 / F / United States Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 1/9/09 revenge ends when it's too late revenge can be sweet but it's more of a bittersweet feeling (to me). on small matters, i think revenge can be sweet like winning a debate or an argument or whatever. but on major issues like in dramas or whatever, i don't think revenge will solve anything. once revenge is taken, what's next? the past can't be undone and there might not always be a satisfactory feeling in the aftermath. revenge can only lead to more hurt/pain in my opinion.

I personally only take pitiful revenge like a harmless joke but i do imagine myself doing worse

KariKun 1846 cr points Send Message: 19 / M / In The Abyss Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 4/1/09 I like the think about something I read in a manga, I forget the exact wording, but it's something like, when blood is shed the others will seek revenge, more blood will be shed and the process will repeat, nothing is gained from revenge and no satisfaction can come from it. It's actually nothing like that, but I threw some stuff in there myself. It's actually about some guy who can rule the world but doesn't, it seems right to me, revenge leads to more revenge, just leading to more and more, until nothing is left. Personally though? 1) I think revenge causes me more grief and stress 2) I'd be immature and be an ass unless I get time to think, if it's a quick revenge action then I'll be a revenge seeking bastard who won't give up until I either win or think it through and give up.
