People aren't rational when they want to commit revenge. It's stupid. Short-term pleasure

I think revenge is a form of vindication; a defense mechanism to act as a warning message for being wronged. However, act of revenge often involves in emotionally, mentally, and/or physically hurting someones, regardless if those who got hurt in the end were the intended message receivers. Not to mention is the fact that when the act of revenge went as far as getting someone killed, that really moot the point of ever sending out a message in the first place. Because the dead don't speak, when the message itself was meant to kill the wrongdoers.

In the end, if sending a message is what revenge is all about, wouldn't make sense to keep the communication channel open for both ways?


There are long-term form of revenge, it's called having a grudge with someone.

i think its pointless, but then again....well think of this, most of these people that are saying revenge is pointless in the end no nothing. most people (like me) as not had anybody they loved killed because of someone else. i like to think revenge is pointless.....but im not sure how i would react if some bastard killed my mom or brother...or my dad....well not really my dad XD

Revenge is sweet in so many ways its fun u should try it. In reality revenge makes you feel better in the long run but eventually u will feel bad for what you did even if the person deserved it. its a never ending cycle of hate that is hard to break, it takes both to break it break. its when you both realize that it stupid to be fighting over something so silly. Sit down, talk, and work it out.

Sometimes I wish for revenge, but it really wastes a lot of emotion, time and the money you spend on a hitman for someone you dislike anyway.

Revenge is pointless it only makes bad things worse and it will inevitability just end up hurting the person who is seeking it. I've let go a lot of feelings of revenge in my life, it's not easy to do but it is so much better to live your life without it and you feel a lot better after you just let it go.

When everyone is clinically dead.

Revenge only ends when the other dies, but then another person might take revenge for the person that was killed, and then another.
Basically, the cycle continues.

That's its beauty, it doesn't. You rights your wrong, and wrongs the right, who tries to right their own wrongs upon you. I would not have it any other way.

I think revenge is ho so sweet and sometimes its hard to let go. Sometimes its wrong but it feels oh so right

Revenge, I do none it enough time to people that did me you a friend wrong. I had an acutance that that stole money from. I knew this person had lost there license in a DUI charge. One night at a bar there she was drinking and her car out in the parking lot. Tapped a sing on the back of her car saying I do not have a license and I’m drunk. Cop got her within a mile. If she did the proper check on her vehicle she would have seen it. My girl friend got beat up by ex-cone she steal credit card numbers and forger check to keep up her drug like morphine habit going. She had been out clean doing her probation. Well I worked in the same office and volunteered to take her home. We called her Sam, home to I tossed a bag pot to her and asked her to roll a few joints, she could keep one if she wanted to, which she did. Off and on I take her home the last I Asked if she knew and body that wanted to buy some pain killers that they were in my glove compartment. She took them out looked at them and pretend to put them back in. she stop coming to work they caught her 6 month later writing bad checks and prescription for drugs again. She had to server 7 year to her last conviction and another ten for the second one. Revenge can be sweet if you let them do there selves in. I have more but my putting in word is just sucks.
