Well the meaning of life is to be here wither you like it or not and live. You are in control.

Life is a mystery. Everyone has different aspects if it but there is one thing in common. It is the unexpected. There will be shitty days and good ones and wtf ones. Everyone has the chance to figure out for themselves, what is their purpose and what they could accomplish.

Adapting the anthropic principle, you could argue that the 'meaning' of life - characterised by the ability to observe and cogitate - is simply to observe. Without anything to observe it, after all, the universe itself is meaningless and effectively wouldn't exist. On a quantum level, wave-function collapse occurs due to observation; otherwise, no instances of quantum superposition would resolve and any and all alternative quantum states would exist simultaneously and de-coherently. Even if you subscribe to the many-worlds interpretation, the point still stands and pan-dimensional branching into alternate universes wouldn't occur.

That's what the quantum physicist inside of me would say, anyway. Actually, I doubt a specific purpose to life exists and even if one does, I don't much care.

I'd like to quote a sentence that a great man wrote. His name is Kurt Vonnegut.

"'Well, here we are, Mr. Pilgrim, trapped in the amber of this moment. There is no why.'”

That was really nice, thanks

The purpose of life is to watch all moeblob anime. Just try not to die of, "HNNNNNNNNGH!"ing or puking because of the cuteness.

That's an easy question to answer. Be born, grow strong, multiply, care for your brood, train the brood, ensure survival of the brood prior to expiration.

Here's the low down. Expand your genetic progeny, expand into new environments (exploration and expansion into space), create new environments if necessary (terraform), ensure that your progeny are trained to do the same (technical and physical education). If humans are the only intelligent species, then it is our job to spread life where there is none, and ensure additional intelligent life is given a chance to evolve. We may actually be the ancients in their infancy, that's if we are the first intelligent species in our local area to evolve. The human race may have a very important role to play if we are the first to arise. Our genetics drives us to do these things, therefore lets do the job we were evolved to do. Change environments to suit life (sans pollution, but hey we're still kids on our cradle planet, we're not full adults yet, when we have finally matured, we will have a lot to do )
