Falling in love, can really be painful. Even when you were right in front of him. It’s even harder when his dad even took his time helping her out, well… short of. Even so, she was determent to make a guy like me, to fall… off a cliff.
For someone as short as a five year old kid, problems always appears right in front of me. It’s like a blob of fat coming slowly toward me, just waiting until something big happen.
This all started on a summer day. My dad decided to take a trip to the beach, to cool off from all the heat. He ran straight to the ocean, when we’ve gotten there. He didn’t even parked and fully stopped the car.
While my dad was enjoying the winter cold water, I was at the dessert warm sand. Just looking at that mountain high cliff, it was far away from here then it is. I’m always left out and in the dark, just waiting and watching other people enjoying themselves.
I spent my time one the beach like a dad watching his daughter’s play. My eye was started feeling like something was pulling it down. It was hard to control, my head felt light, and the last thing I knew; the sky was darker then a cave, the air was stuffier than a room full of people, and I couldn’t move my body. I try moving around, but I only gotten sand in my eyes from moving my neck too much. As well as weaker body, I knew theirs nothing thing I could do much, so I call out for help like a mouse being case by a cat.
Time passed and no one notice me, maybe because I wasn’t trying hard enough. Anyways, I overheard many people talking about a cliff. They said that on the night of the full moon, if you confess your love on that night, something romantic would happen. I didn’t really believe in that story, something like a cliff can’t make your love better in an instant.
Now, I’ve just feel like I’m an Ant in an Ant Farm, just waiting for my death to come. Then I heard a rough, hard voice that could cause an earthquake, “Alice, do I have to be here, watching you?” “Yes you do.” Reply a soft, sweet voice that could bring a dead person to life, “Do you really want me to be all alone? With strange men that would love to ask me out for a wonderful night.” I hear a light thumbed above me. “Yes I do” the rough voice reply to her. I started to hear cracking sound and a foot smash my head, at the same time as light.
It felt like spring has come, when the darkness was removed. I looked at the girl with the soft sweat voice and she had a rather paled look staring at me. Like she recently saw someone head been chopped off. Soon after I saw her, she fainted to the ground.
“Thanks kid,” said the rough voice that was behind me, “She was very annoying little person, for someone her age.” His voice was farther away, “Take care of her while I go somewhere else.”
Now I have two problems to take care of. Trapped in the burning day, and a fainted woman in front of me. I really couldn’t get a good look at her, because there was something else that was catching my eyes. A large man, that looked like an oversize jello having a big meeting with an Earthquake, was heading straight over my head. After shock, after shock, I couldn’t get my eyes off of him; he just stands out from the rest of the people here.
“What happen?” the fainted girl started to wake up. I was very egger to get my sight away form the other person and asked her to get me out of this problem. She seemed uncertain of helping me out from the sand.
In the end, I was finally free from the sandy prison. “Thanks,” I said to her, “to repay for your kindness, let me offer you a drink.” Checking my wallet was shocked, there was nothing but a small paper saying,
I used your money for gas, just be happy to be out of the house. -Dad P.S. It’s not like you were going to buy anything for a girl.

She saw my wallet and said, “don’t worry about it,” like I was a kid, “A Cute boy like yourself shouldn’t have to pay for someone older.” She reached down and rubbed my head like dog. Her words stung me like a bee, protecting her hive. Being short let people think that I’m just a five year old kid, but it couldn’t be helped.
She went to buy me a drink at the near by store. I notice something; she was taller than an average man, with eyes of a shiny sapphire, hairs that curls like a roller costar, and skin as pale as an Angel.
She was finally come back with the drinks and we stared walking around the beach. Before we notice, the sun went to sleep and the moon was up. “Oh,” the silence was finally broken, “I’ve forgotten to ask for your name. I’m Alice by the way.” “My name is Alex,” I replied, “and I’m seventeen year old.”
She bends down and said, “Of course you are. I’m sixteen years old if you wanted to know.” I wasn’t sure if she was insulting me or that is her real age. “Where’s your mommy and daddy?” She asked me. “My mom die from a car crash a few years ago and my dad…” It was hard for my to say “Probably forgotten about me and went home.” “That’s not true, I’m sure daddy would be here any second now.” She said, forgetting about my mom.
I started walking off when she said that. I started dosing off and my body was still moving. I wasn’t sure were I was walking at, but someone woke me with a scream “Alex, Stop!” she yelled at me, “Don’t kill yourself. What good would that do?” I was as confuse as an elephant in a snow storm. “Don’t jump!” She yelled again, “because I… I…” her voice soften like those of a kitten and she looked at her feet, “I… I… I… just don’t.” I was still uncertain what she was talking about, so I looked down. Fear struck me like an elephant seeing a mouse, I was right at the edge of a cliff, a few more step and I could have fall.
The wind started to pick up and was trying to push me off the cliff. “Alex,” her eyes started turning into a crocodile eyes, “please don’t jump. I… I… I… Love You!”
Now, I was lost in a very deep rainforest, “How did I get into this short of situation?” Trying to keep my balance from falling off the cliff. “Alex!” my dad appear with his car, “I’m here to pick you up.” He was driving on the cliff, straight to me, fast, with out slowing down.
Again, I have two problems to deal with. A Car that avoided Alice and was coming straight to me and the wind that’s was pushing me off the cliff and into the ocean. I didn’t really have a time to fix the problem because I suddenly felt pain like a car was crashing into me, then another pain like falling forty feet off a cliff and into the ocean.
The last thing I knew; I couldn’t breath and saw a very bright light. Leading me to an Angel with eyes of sapphire and curly hair, that was reaching her hands out to me.
