well to me the best is the manga it self. so by saying that. the taiwan is better. it was like seeing the manga come to live. the only saving grace in the japanese version is nakatsu. I loved his monologues. To me the show was over done. and if I only saw the japanese version and didn't watch the other I would have no idea why mizuki chose sano other than she is stupit. they didnt develop sano's character at all. All he did was practice. there seen no real connection between sano n mizuki. And mizuki seemed more pushy n noisey then helpful. Also sano only kissed mizuki when she said she wasn't a boy anymore. I mean she should of gone for nakatsu. His love transcended gender, and all he wanted was for mizuki to be happy even if it wasn't with him. He was the first to tell her to stay and was always there for her when she cried. where was sano? He was like a stereo type of his actually character. anyways thats my thoughts.

Yesh. Another manga reader. They both are good in their own ways. Taiwan had a more close follow on the manga(They didn't keep the short legged fox TT_TT), except for the names (WHICH KILLED ME). In the Japanese version, Sano warmed up only to Mizuki, but in the Taiwanese, he changes. But then the ending for the Taiwanese is something to consider (Another point - how did Sakura Comittee become Iron Men?). But, the Taiwanese version takes longer to take to. It took me 10 eps to finally get hooked. The Japanese version was much more abbreviated, but still fun. It invluded more of the three dorms, and you got to learn about everyone. YOu barely hear about the other two dorms in the Taiwanese version.

whats wrong with being a manga reader? what can I say I got standards. I like reading better than watching tv mindlessly. To me the point of the whole story got lost in the japanese verison. It was more on the 3 dorms. Most of the time the only thing mizuki is doing is looking for sano and the only thing sano is doing is practicing jumping. how boring. Plus mizuki was soo annoying,I mean come on. She also looked so much like a girl, it was almost crazy that they didn't see it. I felt stupit for them. but you know what really annoying about both, mizuki brother is suppose to be a foreigner with BLONDE hair! not that goes with my point but still. also u know what drove me nuts, in the opening credits of the jap verison they show a picture of the people in the dorms, and in the pic there is a kid with bleach blonde curly hair, who is that?! who is that? did I miss something. where did that character come up? So in closing, the jap verison might as well been called something else. crazy life in a dorm, and maded mizuki character a boy, cuz really it was a sub story it didn't really matter that she was a girl.the only thing being a girl did was so they were able to end the story ...they find out she leaves. its done, with some akward point in the middle. omg they are gonna find out?! but seriously, the reason I love the story is cuz of mizuki dresses a guy so she can get close to sano and make him open up and he changes for her(not to mention nakatsu crazy one side love). which is not the case in the jap verison, the only thing I learned in the jap verison is that nakatsu is awsome! and mizuki was stupit for not seeing it. and thats my story and Im sticking to it.....

Taiwan version..... -

Rui xi looks like a dude.. Funny Facial Expression and yeah.. XD She's so Hyper..
Jian is not cold.. He's just another hot dude XD
Xiu yi is crazy.. and weird.. also funny.. :3
Ost.. AWESOME! Even the one with an alternating ending... X3
And the Zen me Ban theme..
Story has a lot of romance and Ruixi and Jian sweet moments.. Xiu yi sucks...

Japanese version -

Mizuki only watches Sano's High jump.. No hyperness, no funny expressions... <.<
Sano is so stiff and cold... >.>
Nakatsu is the best.. XD
Ost.. Op song starts with bunch of guys.. and cheap op.. <.<
Peach ruled!
Story.. Sano should have been nicer to Mizuki.. and lotsa romance... Nakatsu Rocks XD

And the winner is..
Hana Kimi TW... now give them the rights to make a sequel...

if you read the manga and liked it, you will like the taiwanese verison. They go hand in hand. The girl in the taiwanese is actually very pretty when they dress her up. I google photos of her. But atleast she looked more like a boy( an ugly boy, but still a boy), n she brought more fun to the character. mizuki in the jap was boring....not to mention sano. The other characters are what made the japanese verison bareable, especially nakatsu n himejima!

hmmmm...on second thought, maybe i will watch the T-version and read the manga as well...i'll just endure the sight of the girl...

i knew the J-version is too short...and mizuki was too annoying...i enjoyed it because of the adorable nakatsu and their nanba-sempai!

Oh good. I was thinking 'What did i say wrong? Nothing's wrong with being a manga reader. Did I say that somewhere? WAAHHH! Oh wait... 'Yesh' isn't exactly common language ..." And I guess since Gilbert was an extra chapter, they coud cut it out, and it wasn't that relevant tot he plot, other than showing Mizuki (So glad I don't have to cut myself off and change the name for the I-Only-Watched-The-Taiwanese-Version-So-I-Don't-Know-Who-Ashiya-Mizuki-Or-Sano-Izumi-Or-Nakatsu-Shuichi-Is people (Wow that was long))... Anyways, that only showed how Mizuki is really impulsive, and won't think of the consequences. Still, I liked Gilbert. Oh well.

well if u hated the taiwan verison, do not and I repeat do not read the manga. u will be disappointed again. cuz they go hand in hand. but anyways, if u like the idea of the relationship between mizuki n sano, u will be disappointed. Cuz they are the most boring characters in the jap verison. if you watch it for two reason watch it for nakatsu n himejima. they are awsome.

When it comes to hana-kimi, I have to disagree. sano n mizuki who are the point of the whole story were awful n boring. It would of been better if they were 86-ed from the show to be honest. but if u are talking about hana yori dango then the jap was awsome!!!!! I almost didn't watch the taiw verison cuz I didn't feel like I needed any other live-action verison of it. cuz nothing could be better. but when I saw the jap hana-kimi I couldn't say the same. I needed something more.
