avast! for me is the best ^_^
for more info please go to http://www.avast.com/.

avast Managed Client Revision History
•fixed extra-long duration of the boot-time scan under Windows Vista
•WebShield: improved compatibility with Windows Vista
•WebShield: better support for HTTP method CONNECT in upstream proxy scenarios
•fixed a minor memory leak in aswrdr.sys
•auto-updates now use much less CPU resources (should not interfere with other CPU-intensive programs running on the computer)
•added a new unpacker: "installers"; useful especially for detection of malware droppers
•added Armadillo unpacker

...etc..

I use McAfee and AVG, but when I use those free online scanners they always show viruses. Scam? I think so.

try to remove the virus... free online virus and spyware scan (no installation), just scan it & it will remove (automatically) all the detected virus/malware >> http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

well, if you want a anti-virus/anti-spyware monitoring your pc, i recommend.. Bitdefender Internet Security or AVG ^_^

I don't really recommend anything. I've used Norton Antivirus for quite some years, and I wasn't really satisfied with it. It takes a lot from your system, too. In the end it was too bugged for me. Everytime I booted up my computer it said that Norton couldn't be loaded, or that something had expired (which was not the case), or that it couldn't be updated, or the whole program just shut down completely. Sometimes it didn't even give an error about not working. It was only untill you pressed the icon that you noticed that it didn't work properly. And then the program shut down, and so it goes forth.

Now I use McAfee, because it's cheap. This also slows down your computer, so I wouldn't recommend that either. It doesn't really work fine, too. I'm just waiting untill it crashes.
