I think its important to be knowledgeable about it. I mean there are a lot of people who don't know anything about sex and then because of that lack of knowledge, some may end up having unprotected sex which can have a number of consequences. Although some people don't think it should be taught, I rather it be the parents as well as the school teaching it than the peers that you are constantly around. It's good to know about things like that so you can make healthy decisions later. I've seen a lot of disturbing things in sex ed but it was helpful nonetheless.

true but some parents fear that even mentioning sex would be encouraging it and remain silent. This leads to ignorence about sex and the possible consequences.

That is true too but it may be better knowing than not knowing at all. I think its a lose lose situation. Not knowing about it or even knowing about it can lead to ignorance about sex. I guess it depends on the person overall but you have a good point

I think sex ed is needed and the normal sex ed classes from what i had anyways doesn't cut it. A lot of the time underage sex is done because of curiosity and by hiding things it just makes it a higher chance someone will do it. If they are going to they should know the risks behind it and how to protect them selfs. I've seen some schools nurses even have condoms in there office in a place were people can get to with out anyone seeing them. This is because kids at that age they are to scarred to go buy them or take them in fount of someone. They are going to do it regardless of having one might as well let them have it safer right?

Here is something my mom said to my sister when my sis told my mom she was going to wait until marriage to have sex for the first time.

NO YOU WILL NOT YOU WILL HAVE SEX WITH AT LEAST TWO DIFFERENT GUYS BEFORE YOU GET MARRIED THIS WAY YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENT BETWEEN BAD SEX AND BETTER SEX!

Yes she screamed that to my sis when she was driving the car she also slammed on her brakes and almost got hit because of it. I'll agree with her everyone has the right to know the different between bad sex and better sex. As a guy it's easer for me to say sex was good then it would be for a girl. I'm not saying everyone should go out and just F two random people. If you are ready both mentally and physically and you understand the risk and willing to except them then go for it.

p.s. if one or both of the people getting married are virgins sex that night is going to suck. If one or both of you don't know what the heck you are doing it's not going to end good.

Ahaha, nice mother.
