hmm.
i think the jap industry is not stealing.
i think korean artists just want to explore if their music could be a hit within the japanese borders.

Uhh this topic is so stupid! Stealing? Do you know Japan has the 2nd biggest music economy in the world after the U.S? If the few successful Korean artists(BoA & DBSK even though the latter isn't even that big as much as I love them) gain more there then they do in Korea why not work there more often? I don't think its stealing its all about marketing. Why go there and be successful for a year and then just go back to Korea? It doesn't make sense and going there in the first place would be a waste of time b/c the Japanese market would soon forget about them. I think they're trying their best to balance their time between both countries and ultimately its really the artist's choice if they want to do that.

Is the thread starter is Korean??

Korean artists want to expand their boundaries. Going into the Japanese music industry is a way of expanding those boundaries.

What are you talking about?
Korean celebs go to Japan to make the ca$h money.

The Korean music industry does not make much profit from sales....
the #1 album on the charts barely sell like 10K

The Japanese music industry has high sales even with the high prices.. (approx. $30 per album)
this is because the Japanese music industry is all about sales.
Music videos? Not in Japan.
They have PVs or promotional videos. To promote what? Sales.
The Japanese release PVs before the actual release date, thus increasing sales.
The Koreans release MVs after the songs been released and they spend a shit load of money on to make some story for their music video.

Koreans don't buy. They download. They drove away their own celebs. nuff said

(And it isn't about "expanding their boundaries" like some have stated. You don't see any Japanese artists going to Korea)

*Regarding Younha
She didn't go to Japan to become a Japanese singer as someone under me as stated.
She went to Japan because the Koreans didn't want her a$s. But now they love her.

what the hell are talking about? If you read the description that who made the Boa's song, most of them are Japanese name who made the song. DBSK and Boa, they became singers in Japan because they liked Japanese musics and cultures. Even Younha went to Japan to become a JAPANESE singer. And she is singing a song that it's made by Japanese people. She also covers song from I WISH(the Japanese singer) called Asu e no tobira. Please be careful with the words that you use THEY ARE NOT STEALING.

Its cuz the Koreans are downloading the songs and not paying/buying them anymore!
The Japanese fans download and buy the sales to support their celebrity!

stealing? how bout if i said it is the Korean singers got the chance to sing more Japanese songs and promote themselves?
ever since BoA has been singing Japanese songs, it seems like a trend to promote more and more Koreans to sing Japanese songs.
anyway, ever since the trend has started, Koreans hav even topped the Orican Chart! like BoA or DBSK.
wouldnt it be even more unfair towards the Japanese who worked hard and letting a Korean band top the Orican Chart?
well tats my opinion anyway.
