Those who like Sasuke better are so dead
Itachi is way better. He's not even old, those are just stress marks because he cares for Konoha and worries for his brother more than anything. Also, he's sick like hell. So, what do you think he could do? Just tag along with Pein and eat his medicine and wait for Sasuke to finally stop being that stupid premature guy he is and get strong enough to kill him. But even then Itachi was way stronger than Sasuke. He was SICK. He needed MEDICATION. and he was HOLDING BACK. He loved sasuke (I can't blame him, sasuke is pretty cool). So that part right after Tobi told Sasuke the truth about itachi is right. Itachi accepted hate > love and disgrace > honour and he left the village and all that stuff just to make sure he died by sasuke's hands, under his very eyes, plus transfer all his eye techniques to Sasuke and let him sort of unlock the Mangekyou Sharingan without actually feeling any pain about killing the person closest to him. Oh yeah, and Itachi was really modest about all this good stuff, he didn't even want to tell anybody the truth. He's just SO DAMN AWESOME PEOPLE
what else? oh yeah if anybody actually bothers to read this until the end, try and answer this question: do more people say tobi or madara?
