GazettE Previous Bands

Ok I posted this on the GazettE family forum and I thought I'd post this here as well.
All right. I thought it might be an intersting topic to discuss the members beofre they were in the GazettE and their previous bands (well...it sounded like a good idea in my head anyway -__-).

[If I got any of their old stagenames wrong, please tell me ^^; I got some of the information from another forum and I can't read kanji]. If anyone can tell me wht Ruki's names might be when he was in some of his old bands, that would be great. I somehow find it funny to imagine that Ruki used to be called Kaede ^_^
Anyway, I thought it was pretty interesting that Kai and Yune were in the same band at some point (not sure if it was at the same time though). It's also pretty interesting that Yune and Aoi were also in the same band before GazettE. Also I thnink Ruki, Uru and Reita's old band Ma'die Kusse just changed their name a few times (but I'm not quite sure).

Also I'd like to know what Ruki used to play before he was a vocalist. I read somewhere that he used to be a drummer 0_o

Also its really hard to find much info about any of their old bands.

They still have their profiles, pics and discography up there ^^. (Reading their profiles sort of scared me slightly- except for Kai's of course).

I managed to find four of their songs one day. I really like DRAG SHAKER and Dual of Psyco.

Um...anway. I thought this might be an interesting topic ^^;

Anyway, this is just some of the info I have ^__^ I have a few mp3s of Mareydi+Creia' , Ma'die Kusse, Kar+te=zyAnose and vall na racill'. I also have some Kar+te=zyAnose pictures which I'll post later ^__^ (when I'm a bit less tired)

And oh another interesting fact. Kar+te=zyAnose actually perfromed Machi Bouke No Kouen De... So I guess Machi Bouke No Kouen De... had been performed by Ruki, Uruha and Reita before GazettE even were a bans XD

Ma'die Kusse

Ma'die Kusse was the first band where Ruki [Kihiri], Uruha [Kyouki] and Reita [Reiki] performed together.

Anway, in this band, Ruki was still a drummer. In these pics you can mainly see the vocalist, Uruha and Reita. In some of the pics you call almost see Ruki playing drums but most of his face is usually hidden >__<.

OMG why have I never heard of these bands before...(maybe cause I was little kid then but still) I`ve never seen a pic or song by any of them, were they not good or is it because they`re just old

Well these bands weren't that old. They were around in 2000-2002ish roughly. And I don't think its they're bad either. I found recordings for four of the bands. Ma'die Kuse and Kar+ty=zyAnose (Uruha, Ruki and Reita's old bands) only had concert recordings (which weren't good qualtiy) so its hard to tell what they sounded like. But in my opinion Mareydi+Creia' (Kai's old band) and vall'na racill (the band which Yune [ex-GazettE], Saga [Alice Nine], Loki, [Sugar] and Shun [Rentrer en Soi] were in) were both excellint in my opinion, although I could only find a few songs by each band. I think what happened was that these bands never became poplular and weren't around for that long. Also they had very few releases.

If you want to hear what they sounded like I have some of their music on my imeem account. You may or may not need an account to hear the songs. I'm not sure. (Sorry ^^ I didn't know where else to upload them, I might put them on youtube if I have time at some point.)

If you listen closely you might be able to recgnise the second track as one of GazettE's early songs ^__^

Well I'm the same age as you so I would have been 10 as well when these bands were first around xDDD, and I've only been listening to J-rock since last year XD
Besides I don't think the age of the band has anything to do with it. Its the fact that they never became popular, and disbanded after quite a short while. I mean there's barely any info about them in Japanese let alone English. The only reason I heard about these bands because they were listed on GazettE's profile on the PPN and various fansites. I just did a bit of googling and looked at some fansites and I managed to find some of their music.

Oh and I can PM you the link where I downloaded LA+NAKAJIZM. ^^ Drag Shaker is one of my fave Mareydi+Creia' songs too ^_^
