UUGGHH!!! I hate k dramas coz most of them are so serious with long agonizing story plot! I mean come on! life around me is already so serious, i don't need to get anymore depress by watching them dramatized on tv.
But i do admit that some of the light hearted dramas are great tho. I pick k movie over k dras anytime. |

loool yeah the cell phone batteries and the U-turns thing... come on!! ....
lol but i love the thing they do with their mouth when they're angry :P ok mine are: 1. when the guy drinks because he cant be with the girl, he usually calls his friend to take him home (because he cant walk properly).. when the friend arrives, he walks unsteadily at the beginning, but a minute later he becomes okay (not drunk) and he starts acting and walking normally >> how weird lol2. I've never seen a korean drama with no food in it.... i mean they HAVE TO eat... and the amount they eat is like.... TOO MUCH!! and when u see them, they're very thin ...(especially the girls coz they eat the most in dramas) ... if i ate that much, i would be so fat i wouldnt even get thin if i stopped eating for the rest of my life 3. the guy who's mean to the girl gets her at the end... and the nice guy who treated her well gets with the girl who loved the mean guy and who was also mean to the first girl because she thought she was stealing her man ... loool kinda complicated, but u know what i mean looool and everything other ppl said is true.. although the plots are usually the same... we still watch these dramas.... i dont know why |

to defend against korean dramas
1- for cell phones, takes too long to turn it off, faster and easier more dramatic if take out battery 2- for girl not hugging back, it is different in every situation. and the girls do hug back 3- for falling ill after getting wet, it's just a plot i don't think it's anything to get annoyed about. In korea it rains half the time in summer. it snows all the time in winter. spring and fall... yea... rain is common in korea so it's not something unusual i think. 4. for the shhhh sound when you get angry, it's a Korean culture thing. It's part of the language. It's like how americans go ARRG when they are frustrated. I don't think it's a matter of annoying but just part of accepting the korean culture. 5. ---------------------------- for me annoying points: - when people smoke to look cool. - when people who come from abroad is all fancy and know it all. (i don't think this is true at all..) - when people use foreign language to look smart and cool but sounds really stupid with a thick accent |

this may apply to other kinds of dramas too... but esp. kdramas... adding to people getting drunk... it seems that the girl always gets plastered because of emo-ness and then gets carried piggy back...
during which time the main guy (who in some of these dramas loaths the girl during this point in the drama) will carry her home on their way home she'll let something important slip or say something that makes him start liking her |

don't know if this has any relation to what everyone is going on about....But is it just me or what....But every Kdrama (well actually, all asian drama) will have a drunken Karaoke scene????
But we shouldn't really be whinning hey...I must admit that if it weren't for these adicttive dramas our lives will be just that little bit more lonely hey...???? Please make more..how about one where all the actors are really hot....oh heaven!!!! And whats with the way some of them speak...like as if they r gonna spit at you???? |

I'm laughing reading all of these... ha ha ha!!!!
For the person who posted that this is a duplicate...sorry... I didn't find it in the index so I started this one...anyway, I don't think anyone will be too upset.... I just thought of a few more things: 1-So these girls are usually dirt poor, so how is it that they own so many coats? I just finished watching Bad Love and this girl is supposed to be struggling financially and yet she has a coat practically for every outfit...what's up with that??? 2-I do enjoy watching them stuff their faces though...is like can you fit any more food in that mouth????? (anyone watch epi. 1 of Coffee Prince??? I think that was a record of # of black noodles eaten by any character male or female in one sitting...lol) 3-How about the rough handling??? The guy always grabs the girl and drags her along...you can practically see their legs flopping...lol..like a cartoon... 4-In the hospital, there is always himidifier going.... 5-Somehow when they get sick they always run to a pharmacy and get so pills (without prescription mind you) and crack open a brown little bottle which I'll assume is water but looks more like more medicine... Oh, and s2sari, it's not really like I'm mad annoyed, it's more like hilariously annyoing, you know??? We all still love these dramas and will continue to watch them b/c they are just fun. |

I'm korean and I have noticed a lot of what you guys said. Most of the dramas are based on a relationship and people either cheating or the person can't get the other person to like them.

What you guys posted are all sort of common for most Kdramas. I do need to point out that Yoon Eun Hye kisses like there's no tomorrow in some of her dramas...so the part where the girl just sits/stands stupidly is not entirely true for her.
As for the rest. SOOOOO...true...but still worth watching! |

Why can't they just turn it off? 2-When the guy hugs the girl, they usually don't hug back...they just stand there with their hands by their side looking like a dishrag or something. 3-How is it that these girls always fall violently ill after getting a little bit wet? Is the rain in Korea deadly or something? hahaha! what you said is sooo true, lol. i've noticed all these too |
