No wonder I felt weirded out when I watched this anime again....*facepalm*

I loved Ghosts at school in Animax before but wasn't able to watch all of the episodes. Years later, (which is right now, though) I discovered Ghost Stories and recognized the characters, forgetting that originally, the title I knew was "Ghosts at School"

then I got more creeped out by the dubbing of Ghost Stories cuz even though I can barely remember how the littlest boy sounded like when he speaks (really, it's a voice you just can't really forget, especially when he gets almost unbearably high-pitched when he cries), I never recalled the totally irreverent dialogue Ghost stories was using from the Ghosts at School that I watched in Animax. But it was the same anime. I thought that I was becoming too old and forgetful, cuz of course, How can one forget that sarcastic dialogue when one sees it. Then only after I tried to research why, did I find out that the Animax anime english dub was more faithful and closer to the Japanese story dialogue than the ADV version that I'm watching right now.

I'm marathoning it right now in Animecrazy.net but even though I'm laughing so hard with the ADV version, I find that I am fonder of the animax version moreso, since it was true to the original japanese dialogue. the problem with the ADV version, if you're not really aware of some american interests like when Hajime says "Giggity giggity!" (a reference to Glenn Quagmire from the animated sitcom Family Guy), you really wont be able to appreciate a lot of comedic puns. Also, the ADV version talks too fast at times cuz the dialogue was longer than the scene itself and the voice actors needed to "rap" their lines to fit the scene before the next scene change.

I'm really sad I can't find the animax version (Ghosts at School) anywhere. I'll have to make do with the Ghost Stories version instead.
