Namie Amuro makes voice acting debut in popular computerized anime Japanese pop artist Namie Amuro is set to debut as a voice actress in the computerized anime "The World of Golden Eggs," which has gained popularity on MTV and other media, it has been learned.
Amuro appears in the program as the mystery girl Amura. The animated scenes are setto appear in a special DVD in her new album "Play," which hits shelves on June 27.
"The World of Golden Eggs" is a short story by creative unit "PLUS heads," with each episode lasting about 15 minutes. It is set in "Turkey's Hill," a place made to resemble the American countryside, and features high-school students in low-tension comedy routines. It gained popularity with just two people voicing the parts of over 60 characters. In 2006 the show's characters were used in a promotion for the Society for Testing English Proficiency.
Amuro said she saw the cartoon when she was producing her album, and enjoyed it.
She asked to take part in a joint project, and it was later decided to include her in an episode. In the show Amura makes an appearance with the Okinawan ethnic music group "GushiKen Band," and for some reason complains in an Okinawan dialect that she has "a store stomach ... and that's no lie."

SUITE CHIC was a R&B/Hip-Hop group which debuted on December 18, 2002. Featuring the writing and producing talent of some of Japan's up-and-coming urban stars, SUITE CHIC served as a vehicle for Pop singer Namie Amuro who at the time was establishing herself as a credible R&B talent. Since the dissolution of the project many of its participants have gone on to greater mainstream success.
In a late 2005 interview, Namie Amuro said she would like to have SUITE CHIC make a comeback in 2006, though nothing came of it.

ＤＯＵＢＬＥ、安室とコラボ！デビュー１０周年記念ベスト盤

安室奈美恵（右）へのラブコールを実らせたＤＯＵＢＬＥ。“Ｒ＆Ｂクイーン”の熱い競演に注目だ

Ｒ＆Ｂ歌手のＤＯＵＢＬＥ（３３）と安室奈美恵（３０）によるコラボレーションが実現したことが４月３０日、発表された。
ＤＯＵＢＬＥがデビュー１０周年を記念し、「安室さんは１００年に１人のスター」と熱望。安室が「ＤＯＵＢＬＥさんとなら、どんな楽曲でもカッコ良くなると思ったので、迷いなく」と快諾した。タイトルは「ＢＬＡＣＫ　ＤＩＡＭＯＮＤ」。「ライバルに見える２人がタッグを組んで、ブラック・ダイヤモンド（イイ男）を盗みに行く、という内容」（ＤＯＵＢＬＥ）だという。

　この曲はＤＯＵＢＬＥのコラボ曲を集めたベスト盤「ＴＨＥ　ＢＥＳＴ　ＣＯＬＬＡＢＯＲＡＴＩＯＮＳ」（５月２８日発売）に収録。２人が過激なダンスでも競演するＰＶも、特典ＤＶＤとして封入される。
