No because if everyone had everlasting life, the value of life will go down, and people would want to kill eachother for resources etc. If only I had it, id just feel selfish at first and then probably bored. I kinda dont really believe in an everlasting life so i never think about it xD, but on heaven or helll... Idk. I dont really believe in heaven or hell... =/ i believe in like, nothingness. and you lose conciousness when you die... but if heaven or hell does exist, id be so bored... like, no drama >.>

Idk if this makes sense btw lol, just got back from work and i cba rereading everything cause i cant reprocess it T-T

i dont believe in life after death or everlasting life. i think life is better that way, just think of a everlasting summer D: it would be horrible. we appreciate it because we know its not going to last for ever. i heard some one use a metaphor about real flowers and fake flowers. the fake ones last for ever but the real ones smell nice.
i guess its just opinion but i would hate to live forever.

and to xyinny , manchester is...... LAME lolz its was waay to hot today

The thought of living forever, in any realm (although I believe that I shall go to heaven when I die), is a very scary idea for me. However, the thought of eternal life in Heaven, although scary, is also breathtaking.
As humans, we can't possibly imagine or comprehend all of what the human race wishes to seek out. The human brain can't possibly comprehend the ending of anything, and no one can understand the full concept of absolutely nothing. The same can be said about heaven. Although the Christian Bible has passages which explain the glory of heaven and the creator of the universe, we have such limited minds that any comprehension of what we would do in heaven is lost. The classical belief that heaven is a place where people worship god all the time is true, but it is also limited because what we will do to worship god will be sooo much more than joining some heavenly choir.

Personally, I believe heaven will be more of a giant party; the reward after a life of struggles.

As for what xyinnyx had to say about the value of human life going down: how much more COULD it go down? The value of human life is already extremely low.

Who said it's somewhat "that high" to begin with? I think it's just "that high" and will never be "higher" or "lower".

Harry Potter?

sure, I'd want to live forever. God would provide things for me to do everyday while in Heaven. There isnt any negative emotions in Heaven, which includes boredom. So I suppose everyday will be a new adventure for me and that I would always find something to do in Heaven. That's a whole lot better than believing there is no afterlife, now that would be boredom

sometimes, I couldn't wait to die and go to Heaven. woot!

everlasting life does not really excite me. i would think that being alive for all time would get extremely depressing as you watch everyone around you die. but for a history fan like me, it would also be very interesting to see how the world changes over the millenia. watching cities rise and fall, countries and empires expand and crumble, i'd find it extremely interesting. but not enough for me to give up my mortality for it. never.

as for the heaven/hell thing, nothing is known in my religion of the life after our life on earth. i assume there is somewhere we all go once the universe is destroyed, but there is nothing written about it.
