http://michellemalkin.com/2006/03/29/the-american-flag-comes-second/

I know this happened last year but i jsut read about it yesterday. This pisses me off this is why im anti-immagration. I think we need to build a giant electric fence and utilitze it as a bug zapper.

(ok yea i know i suck at spelling)

THE AMERICAN FLAG COMES SECOND
By Michelle Malkin • March 29, 2006 01:15 AM ***scroll for updates…new photo added below of a student in Dallas screamed at by an angry mob for carrying an American flag…plus fence-hopping at Montebello H.S…unreality-based Ted Kennedy gets the Clueless Blowhard of the Day Award…chanting in Las Vegas: “La raza unida jamas sera vencida,” or “The united (Hispanic) race will never be defeated.”…protests turn violent in Watsonville…FrontPageMag: Who’s behind the [illegal] immigration rallies?…E-mail your Senators…Debra J. Saunders debunks an open-borders myth…Juan Mann reports at The Immigration Blog: Reconquistas inside the federal immigration bureaucracy?***

You will not see this heart-stopping photo on the front page of the NY Times or on the lead story of the major news networks. You should (hat tip: Mika and F/R):

03/28 : Student protest

Whittier area students from Pioneer, California and Whittier high schools walked out of classes to protest the proposed federal immigration bill March 27, 2006. The protestors put up the Mexican flag over the American flag flying upside down at Montebello High. (Leo Jarzomb/Staff photo)

More:

Meanwhile: Mexico Cheers Passage of Immigration Bill

Like I said: Welcome to reconquista.

I predict this stunt will be the nail in the coffin of any guest-worker/amnesty plan on the table in Washington. The image of the American flag subsumed by another and turned upside down on American soil is already spreading on Internet forums and via e-mail.

The battle for borders and immigration laws that actually mean something, however, hasn’t even begun.

I lolled. Personally, I think if they wanna come here, let them. They are still hanging the flag, so who cares what they raise first. They are just showing they love mama Mexico. Your taking this to a level that does not need to be reached. By the way, who do you think is gonna build your electric fence anyway? Let me tell you something about my Hispanic people. We are REALLY good at keeping our homes. You can ask the Moors about that. This is just blind conservative crap your spewing, and you need to calm down. I know I sound really liberal right now, and that's because I take a liberal point to it. In truth, I am moderate.

By the way, here is the million dollar question. Why are you taking this crap to an anime/manga website anyway? I don't seem to find a tab that says "politics" anywhere.

I have absolutely nothing against immigration. Just as long as they blend in with society. I dont care if they look different or anything but at least learn the freaking language of the country you are going into and blend in with the culture. Do all the stuff you use to at your own house.

Personally, I have nothing against immigration. Most likely they're coming to a new country in order to start a new happy life, hoping to have a better life than they had wherever they were last.

Anyways, I find it pretty simple to think of why people don't like immigration though. Like in Mexico City, about 1700 people move in there every day. I'm comparing immigration to Mexico City because if there are too much imigrants, a city could turn out like that. In Mexico City, lots of people are jobless and there isn't enough space for everyone. Jobs are hard to find and with so much people coming on a daily basis, it's even harder. It's competition. I guess this might be why so people are against immigration, people coming from another country could take jobs that they could have had. And it's logical to feel this way if you are jobless. You were there first. So why should someone else get a job before you? Why should they have that new apartment? Why should they own property? I guess thats the main reason why I think people are against immigration.

Thank you, but I tried to keep it down just in case. Once again, this is not a place for politics.

I have your answer. If you are a boss of a business, and you need to hire someone, who will you hire? The man who works less, and for more pay, or the man who works three times fold what the other man works, and for less pay? In the end, it all comes down to economics. That is the trap man kind has set it self up for. The green slab of paper.

I'm not anti-immigration. I just hate people coming in illegally. Just makes trouble for the legal residents.

I think people should stop worrying about illeagal immagrants. At one point, almost any person who lives in the states has probably had an ancestor or two who have been an illeagal immagrant.
haha look familiar? =)

I say we open up the borders, (in some orginized fashion). It takes way too much time and way too much money to be a citizen of the US, and then most of the time immagrants only get mimimum waged jobs (such as my uncle). Its unfair!

+ i find it funny they have border patrol near Canada... man, America is WAY too paranoid.

Wow. Debating "Imagraiton" on crunchyroll. No way this will be a pointless exercise in internet imbecility. Do people somehow lose all their mental faculties when a keyboard is placed in front of them? I don't remember being so - ah, how do I phrase this tactfully - poor spoken, when I was a 15 year old.
