i think its good and pretty crappy at the same time. the anime itself is pretty good but the story line is bs. i dont get why they kill each other over a bunch of books -_-

Read Fahrenheit 451 and learn why.

whats fahrenheit 451?

Google it.
(If you live in America, any one with a high school education should know this book..)

I watched the documentary of it in 7th grade. . .

As for the anime, I watched the first ep and I like it. I won't say I'm crazy for it, but it seems decent. The concept is quite interesting, I really can see it happening in the future (most in the US) since now we trade information instead of actual goods.

ehh sounds really dumb i mean look at the title..."Library War" sounds like a bunch of nerds that came outa there moms basement and was "OMGWTFPWNTBBQ" in a library and found a book he wanted. Then some other kid was like "thats my book B*tch"but then the basement kid was like "hells no this means war!!!" there we go thats the story :DD

have you watch it yet, i think it's worth watching, i can see it happens in real life...a government agency is trying to suppress any unfavorable information from getting to the public and book is one of its form, so any new books that're release will have to go through a sorting process before it would be release to the public or they may be confiscated and never return, that's a misuse of power that's all i can say.

It's okay but at least it's somewhat original, what with militaristic libraries and all.

the anime itself is trying to tell us that books are important to us humans because books hold valuble information in which we learn from that information because without books how are we gonna keep track of important things hat have happened in the past

That sorta reminds me of an episode of Kino no Tabi, where she goes to a country that only lets people read "how to" manuals and childrens books. And all the other books are confiscated when they enter the country and the people inside the castle screen through everything and either say its ok for the public or not.

Sorry, duplicate. Use the forum search feature before posting a new topic please! =)

It seems pretty good so far, I'm amazed at how books are so important though. O.o

this one is a bit more extreme, since they're fighting each other with weapons and people on both sides could get injure or kill...i haven't seen kino no tabi but it sounds interesting ^^
