I heard BoA's had plastic surgery. Meh. My friend said something about it. But that was ages ago.

Anyway, it can't be helped sometimes. What the public and media wants is for their celebrities to be ageless. That's how vain society can be. So if you gotta nip and tuck certain parts or replace certain things just so the media can deem you "beautiful," sometimes celebs don't have a choice. Meh. Either way, I find it ridiculous but oh well.

erm, i think it's acceptable if you are seriously unpleasant looking to the point that you don't even look like normal people, like eyes very wide apart + super thick lips..

it depends on how you want to look at it. It can both be positive and negative. I'd say positive if it means that it'll boost someone's self confidence. Negative, well, if it's too much that's some kind of an addiction. coz some people just LOVE to have plastic surgery....

Can't really say it's positive or negative but I can say it's better if put to good use like helping those with deformities, who wants to live better lives. Take for example also, Carmit Bachar from the Pussycat Dolls. She was born with a cleft lip and now the traces are gone. She started out a foundation, if I'm not mistaken, helping those who were born with the same condition - group called "Smile With Me."
