Not all the shows listed as licensed are licensed in North America or in English. Several shows were removed at the request or bribe of the Japanese production company. Look at GONZO for instance. It gave a few shows, but EVERY GONZO show besides the few were removed. Same thing for a few other companies. As of now Soul Eater has not been licensed by a company for English. I am guessing the production company paid CR to remove it.
A few years ago this site was great, now you can't watch anything anymore.

If this anime has been licensed for region 1 release, I've yet to find an announcement. Which makes me think it hasn't actually been, which makes me irritated. Yes, I can find it elsewhere, it's just that CR has the best quality since stage6. Still, it irks me with the whole 'this has been licensed'. By who? I wouldn't care nearly as much if the statement didn't seem so unfounded. Yes, the creators have a right to have it pulled from here, but say that instead of giving the impression that it's been licensed for N.A. release.

You can't do anything about it. It is quite pointless to post such a thread when all you do is flame how this isnt fair for you. Get over it. If you really want to watch soul eater, purchase it or download it somewhere else.

The only problem I have with licensing is the cost of dvds. Why does it have to cost so much to purchase? I understand english dubbers cost money and so does shipping, but who the hell actually watches the series with the english voices on? I think the cable company needs to make an anime only channel w/ english SUBS not DUBS then everythign would be fine if it got licensed...we could still watch our fave series without breaking the bank...so to speak.
OTW I support licensing because it allows those responsible, for creating a piece an international market, and allows those of us, more fortunate than others, to purchase them for our own collections.
So, CR has no influence on how those things progress...in fact CR has to be more mainstream now with official sponsorship. I'm so happy to see our CR evolve from what it used to be into what it is now. (even with the removal of licensed material). What other community provides you with viewer inputs on most series on the series home page? I lv that! Saves me time!

I think they are trying to do that now. The problem is that the Dub-only users will not buy them. I know that many people cant watch subs because they believe it is hard to read them and see the animation at the same time. And they are used to having it in English. So the market wont be great.

veoh.com works cuz even though it takes really long to load it's worth it because the quality and subs are nice[Great actually]
