WHY IS IT LICENSED!!!!????!!!

How does Japan depend on us for Dvds sales, I thought they made anime for their own country to make a profit. P.S. US economy is crashing, So your telling me when we fall Japan will come with us as if they are our anchor.

When a anime is good, it would be licence anytime. The company wants to earn money..

@Alkavirus yes not all of us live in America. But, CR is run on servers in America. So, if things are licensed in America or if Japanese licensors invoke that they want the show taken off, they have to. I'm not saying being from a different country doesn't mean you shouldn't watch fansubs. It's just one of those niches that hurts the industry even if it doesn't feel like much of an impact.

@macnubnub Japan doesn't depend on us, but we are a major market for them. Haven't you noticed how now most bookstores carry manga and other japanese animation related things? It's become quite a big thing in American pop culture. So much so that even Hollywood is adapting animes into live-action movies, for instance the upcoming DBZ movie . . . however horrid it'll to be, hopefully not so horrid. I'm not trying to be an ass about it. But, if people have the funds then try supporting anime by buying the dvds . . . in which ever region you live in. If not, there's always region-free DVD players so you could just watch the anime on a Japanese DVD or wherever you want to watch it from.

well, there are still groups subbing soul eater, so if you cannot watch it in CR, there's always some other sites to watch it. there's no need to get so upset. it will be worse if subbing groups decide to drop the anime (especially so for people who are not americans and will have difficulty even getting their hands on DVD versions).
