I hate those licensers! Its not like they sell the licensed dvds in our country, I have to import one to get it! do you know how much that costs?!?! apart from that, I can't download it since I have slow internet connection
loading an episode here on crunchyroll already takes me more or less 40 minutes or even an hour in other sites like veoh it takes me more than an hour and thirty minutes in you tube it takes me 30 minutes per part, what more if I download it! |

I would just like to know where to look for dvd releases and other info so if anyone has any reliable information i would appreciate it. well so far i dont think its licensed by an American company or at least its not announced. i think its most likely media factory's doing in japan. they have a history of not liking their stuff fansubbed. |

It's not licensed. Only the manga is. No American company would ever license an anime with less then 20 episodes out.

if i'm not mistaken, some ppl don't have the pleasure of unlimited bandwidth. fortunately i'm not one of 'em, but there are plenty of ppl who's download caps are set by their ISP...so for said ppl it's pretty difficult to make the decision of wanting to download a whole bunch of anime episodes that are each roughly 170MB for SD quality. HD anime releases are totally out of the question in that respect. and when said person watches A LOT of anime, that download cap will get filled pretty quickly. |

That's what I assumed but usually cr puts up a slightly different message when it's the Japanese company exercising their rights. There were also a couple of claims that specific US companies had licensed it and i could not find any press releases from those companies stating that they had so i was wondering if those making the claims had found something i missed. Death Note was licensed before 20 episodes had aired in Japan i think it was closer to 10 episodes that had aired when it got licensed. It really depends on the popularity of the series and it's visibility in the US. Death Note already had a huge following just b/c of the manga so it got picked up really quickly. |

I think it was later then that but that doesn't change the fact that Soul Eater isn't licensed. |

... I can't believe this thread even exists... Tsk... tsk... If anyone posts anything beyond my post, I'm gonna wonder how on Earth we're gonna survive a couple more years with these kind of people.
