Well considering that i`ve been on thousands of sites I`ve notice something. Its seems a bit irrelevant but who cares. If you notice that people on the computer type proper new world english yet speak none what so ever. I mean my CR members from other countries do you actually speak english? I mean I speak english, spanish, and japanese but i`m from america. DOES it seem that america influences the majority of keyboarding on the internet!!!

On american sites (like CR), thats to be expected. It's typically frowned upon to start threads and conversations in a foriegn language on an american site since that's excluding a large portion of the community.

Try going to foreign sites... you will find a distinct lack of english there.

The internet (in it's entirety) is a collective of machines worldwide hosting information.

Though the concepts and the protocols were primarily invented in the US (namely the Department of Defense) and the operating systems which are running the whole thing (Microsoft and Unix based systems) are of US origin, the internet itself is controlled by nobody. Only real thing that is controlled are domains which is an international organization.

Though government bodies can control specific access to materials. Other than that, not really. In the end, the internet is just a concept and not a physical means to an end. Though I understand what you're getting at.

Theres a rumour going around, i dont know if youve heard it, but. in the near future, ISPs will be controlling everything that goes in and out of the internet.

Meaning to say, more fees to pay. and theyre even attempting to make the internet a private network. Like a pay tv or Foxtel.

Please save the internet ..

hmm i understand if they make it somewhat a change to the web..since the amount of IP's and the amount computers online doesnt match(remember when you suddently had to have a connection capable of 128bit instead of 34?. Very old but thats because the IP address was in a class A format and it had its limits. This was somewhat 1997 give and take.So i understand if they need to expan or change the current ways)

(ofc you can route it out...but damn thats a HUGE thing running that :P)

actually here sorta but many other countries are massive with internet stuff seriously man its really the truth. we also have some countries at a disadvantage like china where the internet is edited by the government so what ever big brother doesn't like big brother erases and kills.

America has Some Influence on the web but not Direct Control Of The Web just like any other country.
Besides Botnets and Hackers Will be around for a long time to come
