^ you're going to find it hard seeing anything.

haa.. judgement.. I actually think sexuality is more open as well... I have some beliefs about certain things, but we're not in medieval times. People should be allowed to display their sexuality however they want. I think there's alot of improvement in the situation now then a few years back.

Just be glad you're living in the U.S.

Thank you poopkeeper. Try living in Saudia or Pakistan, lebanon.. India. I've been to my home country and there's a hell of lot more repression.

[edit to below]: No, it does not happen everywhere. I lived in plenty of places, and conservatives in Canada are like the liberals in Pakistan. Sure, homosexuals and bisexuals may have more problems than the average person, but the exceptions don't ever make the difference. Area does matter. Especially in Islamic countries with archaic practising.

(dont mind my speeling errors i have bad grammar ^^;)
its mean
like c'mon just cause they have a different sexuality then some people does not mean they should be shunned
We live in a "new"society, where every one is in title to have there own opinions
so why not have their own sexual opinions as well
so blah on people who judge people that way ^^

All societies dictated the general view of sexuality. The Greeks basked in it, the Puritans spurned it. Those are two extremes in a virtual cornicopia of gray. Where you live determines how those around you view sexuality and all that it entails. You either follow the herd or break away, but it's hard to completely dismiss views so deeply and subtly ingrained since your conception.

I thought it was about gender preference...somehow, it turned sexual...I'm happy to be "assexual" I take the shape of whatever container I chose to be with.

It's hardly a bad thing, nobody seems to mind...

Who is this woman? She's more perverted than me.

I don't see sex as a matter to be repressed or about letting your libido run rampant. Just spread the love and be responsible. And don't involve those who don't want it. You know what I mean.

pretty much this, it's also okay to have some fantasies/fetishism that's normal for some it's better than being oppressed to the point that you commit a sex crime or something

I probably repress my sexuality to a degree, though I don't hide the fact that I like both girls and boys.

I feel it's getting more and more accepted to be a little sexually deviant these days. The public opinion is mellowing out nicely. Be it homosexuality, bisexuality, fetishism and bondage S&M etc. But that is just it. When you're not just a part of the "public opinion" and you're facing someone as an individual, who's very open about his/her sexuality and may even be a little extreme (from an outsiders point of view) That's when you abruptly come to the realization that you're okay/comfortable or not with such people and behaviors. People almost agree as an automatic response when asked: "Are you okay with -insert a certain sexual preference here- ?"

The general opinion that people who think of themselves as open minded, or just have a policy of everyone minding their own business share, is that this is an era when you're supposed to be okay with pretty much whatever the diversity of sexuality has to offer when it presents itself in other people.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that this general opinion that is widespread these days can be a little deceiving. It's still very hard to be met with tolerance and acceptance when being open about yourself when meeting new people.
I do realize that the subject of fetishes or bondage, S&M might not really come up in the first conversation. But these things have a tendency to come out. At least when you're being true to yourself.

I don't know if I'm making any sense. I'll just leave it as it is.

I think people hide it more than repress their feelings.
