What does the word Sorry mean to you?

i looked but i didnt see a topic like this, but if there is please delete it

i want to know what sorry means to u, is it just another word to u, or does it have more meaning to u then that?

to me sorry mean, i wont do what i did again or will try and not do it again, and am asking for the person im saying sorry to, to forgive me, if they can.

I would rather hear "I apoligise" than "I'm sorry". Just sounds more formal.

A more formal and sincere form of sorry. I dont care if someone who wronged me feels sorry as much as I care if they apoligise.
