Acer, being a Christian is more than just being baptised and going to church. One can do both of those things and not be a Christian, and therefore - according to our religion - go to Hell. Christianty is about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, which Hitler most certainly did not have. If he truly did, do you think he would have committed the unspeakable acts that he did?

Nothing in the Bible supports Hitler's ideals. Hitler's actions did not reflect Jesus. Therefore, he was NOT a Christian.

he did everything he did to creat the perfect race. He Killed off people of different religions because thats what he took christianity to be. Just like Acient romans used to outlaw Christianity Hitler did it with Judasim.

You don't seem to understand. If that's what he took Christianity to be, then that in itself proves he was not a Christian. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that we strive to create the perfect race. In fact, much of the Bible stresses the fact that we are NOT perfect, and God does not expect us to be. A Saint is just a Sinner who falls down, and gets back up again.

Hitler was not a Christian. This is not something that can be debated.

See thats the thing if I were to say Albert Einstien was a christian you'd all be like FOR SURE HES THE BEST but when an OBVIOUSELY devote Christian such as hitler is called a christian you say he isnt? I'm sorry but thats just wrong you dont sell out your fellow comrades. Also read the bible God wasnt unlike Hitler I don't know why people think hes this all caring thing most of the bible is about Gods wrath and how people shouldnt anger god.

Hitler openly mocked Christianity behind closed doors... he only used the religion as a tool of control, never to try to justify his actions.

I'm currently agnostic. Why? because I don't think that choosing such a fundamental belief about the world (as a whole) can be done wisely by knowing ONLY one side of it. Each one of us are limited individuals, our perceptions are limited by our senses, our views or opinions are derived by our perceptions and experiences, and so on. Having a belief just because one happened to be born in an environment where a certain belief is considered the standard, or just because the belief has been taught to you since you were a kid does not seem wise to me.

People question many things in the world, but suddenly when it comes to faith, they see it as a sort of exception and do not question their faith, this should not be the case because we make mistakes. If we don't question our ideas, beliefs and most importantly ourselves, we may fall prey to dogma, that is taking a relative view or idea and claiming that idea as an absolute. This of course leads to many problems.

Besides, the truth is absolute, The good is good because its very essence is one of goodness. If we love others as much as we love ourselves and act in such a way that our principles of action may be made as an universal law, the need for compassion, love, non-violence, honesty, courage, honor, kindness and self-improvement as well as self-awareness becomes obvious. Before you are sure that you are correct in your beliefs, know yourself, your limitations, and explore other points of view, and always ask yourself: are the judgments and actions that I am making intelligently justifiable and reasonable? People such as Gandhi, Buddha, Christ, the main philosophers, Confucius, atheist/agnostics such as Bertrand Russell, Nietzsche, etc, are important people in the history of humanity, and one should at least have a peek at their ideas and test one's beliefs against theirs. Knowing the other side helps you to expand the knowledge of yours.

so basically people were getting smarter so they made a new testament. The old Testament is about scaring people into the religion people started to relize this so they made a new testament. The new testament was to try and right the wrongs of the old they had to stop trying to scare people and say hey our god will forgive you now. I'm sorry but people can barely change so what chance would a vengful Egotistical god have of changing? Also, if you dont think he or she is egotistical I'm almost certain one of the 10 comandments is dont worship any others.

You're taking a lot out of my posts that I never said.

I would NOT say Albert Einstein is "THE BEST" just because of his scientic achievments. How shallow do you think true Christians are? It's not about works, because the Bible states that a man cannot enter Heaven by works alone. It's about the heart. HITLER WAS NOT A CHRISTIAN.

And you're missing a lot of key points. Times during the Old Testament were different. For example, people couldn't just ask for forgiveness and receive it. Sacrifices had to be made. That's why Jesus came - to be the perfect sacrifice for us all, and give us a direct way to connect with God. The New Testament teachings clearly go against what Hitler did. "Love your neighbor as yourself," right? Sure, that was said in the Old Testament, but Jesus also said it. Hitler obviously didn't do this, huh? HE WAS NOT A CHRISTIAN. He was a greedy and insane individual who was bent on achieving his own goals, not those of God.

"Also, if you dont think he or she is egotistical I'm almost certain one of the 10 comandments is dont worship any others," that is because - according to Christianity - there IS no other God. That's why they're FALSE gods, FALSE idols, and so on and so forth. Your whole view on Christianity is skewed and incorrect.

Are you attempting to mock me? No, I don't believe in Santa. I believe that a St. Nicholas, at one point in time, did exist...but I do not believe that a jolly old fat man on a sleigh piloted by reindeer travels around the world every Christmas eve delivering presents. No, I haven't believe in Santa since I was 5, when my brother thought it would be funny to ruin the magic of Christmas for me.

And how is the theory of Adam and Eve most likely wrong? And I want you to back it up, not just state the point.
