nope, but having an interest in their culture is different than trying to actually be a part of it.
you aren't trying to act like an asian person are you? and even if you did it wouldn't be offensive, just silly.

It doesn't offend me, I dont think it offends anyone if youre interested in the culture. Its just people who are fucking annoying who do everything as if they were Japanese (Or what they think Japanese culture does from what they've seen in anime) and curse whatever nationality they are and the country they live in and praise Japan are fucking idiots that deserve a terrible death.

What if there was like a black guy who was born in Japan, and he moved to America when he was 17, so he acted like a Japanese person but you didn't know that, would you think that its silly still since you didn't know.

Woah, how many threads have you made today? lol Anyways I don't see anything wrong with people exploring different cultures. I'm too lazy to go into this so yeah. I agree with Dro.

he isn't trying to act japanese, he is actually japanese and lived there for the majority of his life.
The silly ones are the ones who blatantly have no real connection to the country or culture, yet act like they do.

not really..but it gets kinda annoying at times

who doesn't want to go to a country in asia and spend time there..
its just that you guys constantly use words like "kawaii" in every sentence, eat with chopsticks like its ur main silverware, etc

but also, it goes the other way too,
in china and other countries, ppl try to use english words, dye their hair blonde, and tries to become westernized

i guess its natural to want to be something you're not

i think that for a person to be inspired by another culture that they didn't grew up in is awesome. personally it doesn't bother me that much or at all i think that what bothers me is that if you or anyone for that matter don't respect there cultures and background before they want to be another part of a different culture, now that a different story to me. but i think it depend on where you are at wanting top be somewhere.

They have no right to see themselves as cooler than others because of their race, that qualifies as racism.
