Always the music...face is always bonus, in terms of Asian Pop that is. I don't understand how you like someone's music because they're good looking. Although admittedly, most of the Asian Pop I listen to are female solo artists, but the reason I listen to them isn't because of their looks. It's the fact these artists are only famous because they are good looking, that is how the Asian Pop market works.

I like them because of their member-ai. Even if they didn't start out as a close knit group, they overcame many obstacles together and became stronger than ever. I like how they look like they are having fun with what they are doing, and that they are very supportive towards other member's activities.

for me its... the music style and if they're different. i hate it wen songs are so typical. They also should have a nice voice-or strong loud voice. And they have to sing about real stuff or atleest be catchy...

The looks don't matter. And all the people that said they did can jump off a cliff together, yay.

I mean, with my favourite musician, I thought he was unattractive at first but the more I loved him for every other reason I could come up with, the more he seemed attractive to me. His looks grew on me, in other words... I couldn't care less.

I really like Keri Hilson. I don't think it's so much her voice as it is her uniqueness appearance-wise. She's a new face.

Yoko Shimomura - One of the few musicians I've come across that has such a diversity in her piano playing ability.

Kurt Cobain - His ability to write great music with ease.

Yasunori Mitsuda - The melodies he creates always get to me.

Definitely their talent. If they can sing or dance, then count me in. The other half is their personality. If that idol is really rude or disrespectful, umm NO. And part of it is their face, lol. If they're handsome or gorgeous, count me in again! (:

I absolutely adore Daft Punk.

Mainly because of their ideals and the quality of music they make.

As said by one-half of the duo;
"We don't believe in the star system. We want the focus to be on the music. If we have to create an image, it must be an artificial image. That combination hides our physicality and also shows our view of the star system. It is not a compromise.

We're trying to separate the private side and the public side. It's just that we're a little bit embarrassed by the whole thing. We don't want to play this star system thing. We don't want to get recognised in the streets. Yes. Everyone has accepted us using masks in photos so far, which makes us happy. Maybe sometimes people are a little bit disappointed but that's the only way we want to do it. We think the music is the most personal thing we can give. The rest is just about people taking themselves seriously, which is all very boring sometimes."

Ways of thinking like this just immediately attracts me to certain musicians.
They dare to be different, and make music from the heart.

And once you look under the helmets, their looks are just an added bonus.
